Does anybody else knit or do any other form of needlework?
I do like my knitting, had a bit of a break from it but bought a small project whilst we were staying with Hubby's Mum last week and that got me back into it.
At the moment I'm knitting a Christmas Puppy from a Jean Greenhowe booklet.
I also cross stitch, I used to do it more but knitting has taken over at the moment. One of my most ambitious projects was a sampler for my in laws Diamond Wedding Anniversary.

I'm trying to pick up crocheting as it is a bit easier than knitting, at least to me! So far I know how to crochet some very simple things, but I plan on learning how to do those "dragon scale" gloves eventually.

I would love to learn crotchet - my mother in law taught me most of my crafting skills but she's not the best at crotchet by her own admission. She can do the squares and thats about it!
Kiwi - Whats plastic canvas?

I do lots of embroidery and random craft stuff. If I could figure out how to get the links from Google Picasa (after it went inactive...) I would share some photos.

Plastic canvas is a form of needlepoint, but done on a stiff plastic grid (and usually worked with yarn since the holes are bigger). So you can cut out pieces and make 3D objects (usually things like tissue box covers). You can see my work in the links I posted earlier. I've done a full Hogwarts Express out of plastic canvas.

I haven't done any needle work for ever such a long time!
I mostly crochet :) it's quick and fun to do.
I have a knitting project that's been on the go for several years now :P in fact I've just picked it up again!
