Maybe an early version of Bangles?
I'm thinking of the pose and color.... anyway you can transform her into whatever you like

I don't know, but her colour is salmon pink.

Oh that is NEAT! I don't recognize the color as any existing G1 in that pose. Bangles is definitely a darker and richer pink.

Maybe someone was trying to de-flock Bangles and messed up her symbols/eyes, so then she was fully stripped.  The big questions for me are, does she have mane and tail holes?  Are there any remnants, in the creases and such, that suggest she was flocked at some point?  Is her head loose and if so, do you see any hair/glue residue inside the head?  Good luck! :)

ETA:  If she was stripped with a caustic chemical or sun-faded, it could account for the difference in color.

And just as a disclaimer:  I don't collect or know anything about prototypes, so she could be one, I am just trying to rule other things out first. ;)

She don't have plugins for her mane, neither hole for the tail. The numbers in her neck, all.

Wow, congrats!!  Definitely a prototype, the real mold doesn't have that weird, long neck.

She is very interesting  ^.^ thank you for sharing her with us.

She isn't a prototype IMHO, I'd class her as either unfinished or a pilot skin. I have seen one untrimmed before, in that she still has the extra vinyl attached to her neck hole.

Prototypes are one of a kind and tend to be hand finished. Some are full body repaints of vinyl ponies and others are made of solid clay or resin.  They are complete and have eyes, symbols and hair. They are sometimes seen in catalogs and leaflets.

Unfinished ponies are just like your pony, they have appeared in unconventional colours such as a salmon pink, which means they could be pre-mass production.

Pilot skin these are unfinished ponies that were tests and were made as part of the pony creation process.

I don't know about value, but I think it would be a very bad idea to try and customise or alter her in anyway...

Agreed. I'm pretty horrified people were even suggesting altering her at all...

I know customs are pretty mainstream, but this is an irreplaceable pony that was a part of MLP history... its one thing to destroy vintage toys, but its another to destroy incredibly special pieces like prototypes, unfinished ponies, clay ponies, etc...

I guarantee that if anyone ever has a special pony like this they want to alter, someone will buy it instead and preserve this piece of pony past.

I definitely third not customizing her in any way.  She is definitely desirable as is!  I do think that maybe Khayman81 was making a joke.  ;)

Of course, if the pony is not valuable you can or not customize it, but if it is that's another thing. Anyway it is a rarity :-)

Oh, do not worry, it was not my intention to make a custom of it, I want to keep it, but it was to know its value.
Thank you very much for sharing your opinions and advice.

Placing a value on this sort of thing is very hard.

She is priceless to the community as she provides a unique incite into the creation process, which we would other wise not know about. Many unfinished, pilot skins, clay patterns and prototypes we just binned. The ones that exist were saved by their creators.

If you were to sell her, I honestly don't know how much she would fetch. The few that are in the hands of collectors were sold privately so I have no idea what they went for.

I also have to add intrest in her may be limited, these sorts of things only appeal to a small number of people. This would cap her price.

At the end of the day, she s only worth hat someone is willing to pay for her ;)

I have always wanted to add one of these to my collection, but have no idea of what the value is.  I wouldn't even know where to start.  I see a lot more G3-G4 "prototypes" and they often go unsold on ebay, unless they are in the $25 range.
