What is Let's Make a Pony?

The basic point of the game is to create a pony as a community through a series of polls. These polls will ask basic questions to determine our ponies physical appearance, most popular choice when the poll is closed wins that round. Since this is supposed to be a fun community game, please feel free to share your opinions and comments in this thread.
Let's see how wild our pony will be!
What's the Purpose?
No real final goal but to have fun and see what we come up with together. I will be drawing it as we go along so we will have a visual representation. If anyone wants to join along with art, a custom, or anything else creative, feel free! ;)
About voting.

The crowds have spoken, and it was a clear choice that our pony is a jewel eyed, symbol covered pony!
For today's poll...
Now we're onto what makes MLP, well, MLP! Time to start putting some colour on our pony. Now, unfortunately, I can't just stick a colour wheel in front of you all and get everyone to agree on one definite hue, but we'll try to round it down the best we can. It will be a two part poll again! Part one is about determining the generic colour, part two will be more about deciding the specifics (pastel/neon/muted/etc). Feel free to add a small swatch to the thread during part one if you want to share a specific colour you have in mind (not required, but would be used for voting in round two). Part one is a four day poll. Open until Oct 8th. Part two will be up for three days Ending October 11th!

Our pony is a beautiful blank canvas, aka white! But we can't stop there, most white ponies are usually have a little colour mixed in, or at least an off colour for shading purposes, so let's figure that one out. Here are some off white swatches, and requested pearly option to vote on! Reminder, we have until October 11th for this session.
