They all look nice :)They are going to have a nice hot bath, plus combing and see how they turn out :-)
hot water can damage the flocking! only use cold on SS!That's the point, l got them almost as bait for their flocking was not good... so my purpose was to have them to unflock. Haha
Oh wow! I love Scrumptious, she's so precious! I can't wait to see her unflocked. The contrast of hair and body colour must be amazing! And Lofty is one of my favourite So Softs. What an exciting project! She's turning great, the hair colour is so cool... but deflocking white ponies is always harder... now she's waiting for the last touch ups. But tomorrow, got my thumb hurt in the process lol
Deflocked SS ponies always look so good. I never have the patience to do it myself though. Congrats on your new ponies. Looking forward to the 'after' pics :D
OOohhh i can't wait to see the updated after pics!! Congrats :)I can post one in between of Scrumptious but it is a bit weird... headless pony....
I love deflocks, can't wait to see them finished! The one I like the most after Ribbons is Twist, the color after deflocking is beautiful:-)
scrumptious looks so cute!!! you did a great job with these gals. i personally don't like ss ponies, i think they have great designs..under all that fluff and puff! That's exactly my point, they are beautiful, but the flock make them look ordinary, so this is why I love deflocking them so much. Besides many of them don't have the nss version
More love for Scrumptious, she's my favourite hands down. And did you try to deflock Lofty, too? I have such a weakness for yellow ponies. Oh, and btw your other ponies are real beauties, too! I'm still looking for my Twilight and would wish I'd come across a Twilight in such a great shape.I never thought Scrumptious would be so lovely in real. Lofty is in mid process. Her flocking is really glued so it takes more than just hot water and nails scratching. And her hair was awful. So she'll spend the night swimming in fabric softener. I'm looking for a Twilight to... and maybe try to re root an Alicorn I have in project... we'll see. ;-)
Your pony projects turned out beautiful and congrats on completing your childhood herd! :iconclap:Thanx!
Beautiful ponys you got there. Congrats!Thanx!!!
Thanx!Check Ebay for SS Twilight! I saw a couple of her on there recently, and she was selling for a pretty reasonable price!
I've got Ribbon, Bangles, Twist, Bouncy, Magic Star, Shady, Surprise,Lofty and Scrumptious. The ones with great colors like Ribbon or Twist are my favorites. Light colored ponies are harder to deflock. But still I like doing it a lot.
I'm looking for Twilight but she's hard to find. Same for Cupcake. But I will eventually.
I am bidding for a Twilight lot on eBay but the shipping costs they say there are just enormous, so I'm waiting for an answer from the seller to see if there's some hope...Thanx!Check Ebay for SS Twilight! I saw a couple of her on there recently, and she was selling for a pretty reasonable price!

And be still my heart, is that the French G1 Regular Twilight? I love her light pink color <3
Gosh I can see how much work you have put into these  great job!! Your de-flocked Lofty is amazing. I have two to do and finding the glue really stubborn. Your Ribbon looks so nice with her baby!Thanx ^^
Aww! What a nice little herd! Too cute!! :DThanx! It goes up to 111 ponies... need more room hahaha
Glad to see that Moonstone got a new tail! Sunspots hair also looks much better than Before. :)The had a bath all three and went out better. Majesty got a glittery horn and is on display with Gipsy. But is on another shelf.
Khayman81 I just used fabric softener on a bunch of ponies both to detangle (really helped with that!) and for leave-in comb-out and both the ponies that had good hair already and the ones that got laundry-detergent flatironed came out looking so much better than before. I revisited some that I just couldn't get rid of the frizz previously and though they still aren't 100% they are sooo much better too.Well! Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback. And I am glad to see and read that it worked so well with your ponies. Now there's not only my experience with fabric softener.
And just like you said, I can comb them a lot and they get better instead of worse, and have a nice shine to them and seem so much healthier. I redid a Sugarberry with dry hair that kept breaking and was coarse and kinky and she is actually almost presentable now. Instead of having to curl and not touch, I was able to dry more naturally and comb them and I am so much happier with the results, Yay!
thanks so much for the great tip!
