Hello,
I've decided that my old orange teddy needs a new home, he has just been sitting on top of my wardrobe looking rather sad for too long now :sad:. So hopefully somebody can give him some love and attention, I've had him since the mid 90's but don't really know much about him i.e make?, handmade? age? :blush:
If anybody knows a price check that would be super helpful, also if anybody in the U.K wants him just let me know ;)

I had 2 very big teddies that looked pretty much like this, one dark pink, one light, as a toddler in the mid 1970s!
No idea who made them, found out in my teenage years that all my friends had them! Another friend had a dark brown version. They were more useful for sitting on than cuddling when you're only three.

Thinking on that time frame... I think I have a friend who had (well has) a white one. But he's bald and tan now. The farthest we got figuring out where he was from is that he was her mom's when she was a kid. We never managed to ID him so now I'm suddenly quite interested in this.

we had a bright blue one; according to my parents, my dad won it for my mom at a carnival game? It was either while they were dating or soon after they married, so that would have been between 1972-on, which fits with what you said, GazeboMouse

Thanks everyone :grouphug:, very interesting that there are other colours out there and his possible age! I've never seen another one, sadly he doesn't have a tag or any signs of ever having one.
He shall be going to the craft market next weekend, if anybody wants him in the U.k just let me know before then ;) I wouldn't be asking much as I can't imagine he's worth a great deal?
