Title: How did I do here? Frenchy MOC baby
Post by: GypsyTails on July 28, 2016, 04:28:47 PM
Ok kids, give it to me straight. I've been had, haven't I? I just snagged this baby on e-bay completely uncontested lol Something has to be wrong, right? This would be my first MOC and my first foreign. Does she look legit? If she is legit what do you all think she might be worth? Thankfully my bid wasn't all that high, or awesomely it wasn't all that high! It depends I guess! The seller has good feedback...

That's Baby Schoolbag. He looks legit to me (yes, he's a boy). I've never seen a German/French backcard before, but hopefully someone with more expertise can chime in as I'm definitely no expert on MOCs!

Yes, I was looking for a regular Baby Schoolbags  and I am currently buying one from a seller on the arena, but before I found that one I happened across this one and thought "Why not?" "Slim chance"

Oh, and "HE". That, I did not know!! :D

edited to add the back

Yeah, apparently he's the first boy to be made in this pose, according to My Little Wiki - http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Baby_Schoolbag (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Baby_Schoolbag)

Interesting about the double language card. Can't wait to hear from people with more expertise!

I am embarrassed to say that I didn't even notice until you pointed it out! I don't speak either  and didn't really look I suppose. The entire ad was in French...I think haha And it's shipping from France. That is interesting!

It's Dutch, not German. :)
Cute one! Welcome to the addicting world of MOCs.

Yes, it's a Dutch/French card, sold in The Netherlands/Belgium area. The pony was sold fairly widely across Europe, but the cards were different depending on distribution :)

Schooltasje means little school bag!
