Does anyone here collect vintage popples? I found Bibsy at a local goodwill yesterday and I want to put her in the wash. However, her tail shakes like a baby rattle(its adorable:) so I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to put her in the wash.
What do you think?

I have one of the babies from that set. I forget her name.... I just looked at her tag and it does say she's machine washable. I'm pretty sure mine's been through the wash. I'm sure she'll be fine. Just put her in a pillow case like any other stuffed animal.

Thanks sailorstitch. I was worried the rattle ball would fill with water or something? By the way I'm not a popple collector but Bibsy is really cute! I love how she folds up into a ball too!

I collect Popples :) I usually hand wash most of my stuffed animals and comb them after they air dry. Whatever you do, don't put it in the dryer! I have seen a lot of Popples and Rainbow Brite sprites with dryer burnt hair.

Just tie her up in a pillow case and wash her on cold. Do not put her in dryer! Let her air dry and she should be fine. ;)

Definitely no dryer!

I have most of the popples (I've been collecting pretty much as long as I've been collecting ponies) and I have washed lots of them in the washing machine. The only concern is that their insides need to get totally dried -- otherwise mold might be a problem.

Definitely don't dry her! Their fur pills.
