Hi,
I just got a pattern in the mail that was described on Ebay as uncut and complete but the pattern has been cut and pieces are missing. What is a good way to contact the seller about this?

I would just contact the seller, send a message and let them know the issue- and what you are looking for (a refund?) If you are polite you are more likely to get a good response.

Thanks Galactica It wouldn't be such a big deal but the main outfit I bought the pattern for is the piece that is missing. To be fair the seller has 100% feedback and I don't think that they were trying to be deceptive. I'm not sure if I want a refund or what although the reason I chose this pattern over others was it was listed as uncut. Also I don't want to open a case against the seller so what option would I go through on Ebay?

Just contact them first, there should be a button you can contact the seller.
If he or she doesn't respond, then you can open a dispute. I always give them a chance to respond before opening a dispute.

I sent a message to the seller and am waiting for their response.
I tried to be really polite in my message and not sound like I was accusing the seller of being dishonest al all. I thought it might be best to not ask for a refund yet and see what the seller's response is.
Edit: Wow! I didn't ask for a refund but as soon as the seller read my message she apologized for the mistake and refunded me.

that was very kind of your seller to do :bigups: I'm glad it all worked out ok and you didn't have to open a case . I don't think your seller was trying to scam you, it seems like an honest mistake :)

Thanks Ringlets. :) The cut pieces were at the bottom of the envelope and the cut portion wasn't noticeable until the pattern was unfolded. I think it was an honest mistake too.
