Well, over 20 years after it started, we are finally closing down the pony room and selling our collection (I read with interest the speculations that it had been previously sold but it had not - we had trimmed the herd a few times but still had a large room in the house dedicated to ponies).
We have 60+ lots on ebay right now (seller = delaneys) and we have started a webstore at

where we have fixed price buy it nows... nothing cheap or inexpensive but hey... they've been with us for years now. Yes, Rapunzel is there, so are Scribbles and Dabble. We'll be adding to both ebay and the other site over the next few months.
If you have any special requests, please let us know. But be kind... we've been out of the trading game for a long time and have little idea of the value of items. And the proceeds are going for a great cause too!
For those that know us, Emma (the tiny baby at Pony Palooza I and II) is now 15, was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma in March but is responding VERY well to chemotherapy and treatment and we have great hopes for a good outcome! Think good thoughts for her.
And please let us know if you have a grail item you are looking for that you know we must have lurking on a shelf or in a closet somwhere :biggrin:
We have an 8 foot long dresser full of accessories alone, all the UK comics, binders full of pony materials and tons and tons of "pony stuff" besides the ponies... we'll try and be responsive as we can but realize we're gone about 1 week a month at the hospital right now. It's yet another of the 'old school' collectors I remember from when I first came online in 1997-8, and even though I never got to go to a Palooza, I remember the talk and the photos from it all the same :)

I'm sorry to hear of such famous collectors going out but I hope your daughter continues to respond to treatment and gets well. Do you have any pictures of your pony room? Unfortunately, that is how the wix store website software works. You have to open up each item to see the "non-cropped" picture (or at least a better picture representation) - the store template has predetermined sizes in the store frames so it is difficult to manage in that regard. Couldn't really find a better store template in the limited time I went looking.

Well even holding it in your hands, it is difficult to say if the spot is on the plastic bubble or a small pony cancer lesion. I think it may be both after spending sometime looking at it. The plastic bubble is scratched over the spot but I do think there is a spot underneath. Shame, it is a very very nice card and undisturbed inside.

Hi everyone! First of all, let me address the question of the Baby Blue Ribbon game. There was a misbid that drove the price crazy, the person who did the misbid asked to cancel which we agreed... unformately, that left the 2nd highest bidder with a ridiculous bid also. So we sold to the 3rd bidder on 2nd chance as their bid was astronomical in our our eyes... final price was just short of $400.
We've been quite busy this week getting most of the US collection posted onto the emma website. Tonight I finally got 100 or so lots added including the much asked for and anticipated adult sea ponies with original shells. LOTS of stuff is ready to be posted and we'll be adding another 100-200 lots there tomorrow. Brings the number of items on the site to 475 right now and upwards of 600 by tomorrow night. Accessories will be the last thing to go as we're still matching ponies to accessories. You saw how many we have... there will be plenty left.

Another 50 or so auctions up on Ebay this week... winding things down a bit as we have some competing priorities in the coming weeks.

We finally got to the far side of the room and have started adding non-US ponies to the Emmasmlp.com site. 100 or so items added to the website this morning (and there are items in the Non-US pony section finally).

Getting down near the end now, today's additions pretty much add the rest of what we still have. We're in the process today of adding another 200 or so ponies (will be adding more throughout the day)... lots of chances for Nirvana items starting as low as $5 (see the foreign pony section - Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, France,...). Some more mint in bag items we found (birthflowers, other mail orders) and lots of other ponies. There will be near 700 items on the website before the end of the day.

This will be our last weekend of first run ebay lots - then we'll probably take a few weeks off before we start selling some accessories and items currently on Emmasmlp site.

Yes... I believe that is all the ponies unless we find some as we clean out the room but I'm pretty sure everything is numbered and listed somewhere except the lots I have going up today (or the items which end up not being paid for on ebay, had a rash of those lately).
Accessories will likely be in September - got a vacation and a surgery between now and labor day so I think today's ebay may be it until then.

Marked down EVERYTHING still listed on the website by 25% from the originally listed price. If you've been thinking about something from there, now is the time.
Prices will go back up on Monday and then we'll be taking them down in a few weeks to clear them out on Ebay.

Thanks everyone... we've taken down the weekend sale and will be fading into the background for a month or so before we auction off whatever is left on the website through ebay. You've all been wonderful (well, most everyone has...) and its been great getting reacquainted with some and meeting some of the new folks. Emma is doing well, even starting to grow some hair again =o). Thanks for all your support and giving our collection loving homes for the future.

The EmmasMLP website is no more... all the items are being prepared for listing on Ebay.
This week we have 42 miscellaneous lots, some small figures, some MIB items, some playsets, some ponywear... lots of variety.

It has been fun but our collection is no more! 43 lots this week and that will do it for us. So... last call on Ebay this week - few last bits we still have.
Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and well wishes for Emma. She is doing quite well now, last scan was clean - its been a crazy year.
