Hello,
I was wondering how often Rapunzel appears on EBay. Is she really that rare that she's hardly on there? How often do you guys think?
Are there any other websited besdes Ebay that work kind of the same?

Based on sold listings, it looks like around twice a month.

Thanks for the reply. By the way. Since you speak of preciois listings. Is there a way to check how often she has been on Ebay? If I google her I can find some old sold/ended listings. But is there a more accurate way?

She's been there far too often, in my opinion, for the price she generates. Just proving she's not as hard to find as some other ponies, but just much more expensive.
I don't know of a way to check other than the closed listings on ebay. I am not sure they provide any kind of search to let you see the frequency over a set period of time.

You can check completed listing and you can see what ones sold, what ones didn't , and how many times they have been relisted. Also you can change how you see them by changing your search to ended:recent first. That way you can see if any have been up recently.

The bar on the left side of the ebay listings has a lot of options for searching. One of them is "sold listings," and that's a good place to start to see how much and how often she has been there lately. Play with that side of the screen, and you'll find all sorts of fun ways to sort what you are looking for!

She was on "The Doll Peddler" website for a long time for half the price. I'm not sure what's going on with that doll.

I'd say pretty much just on Ebay and maybe on here but more likely I'd imagine someone would put her on Ebay. Not gonna find her anywhere else, most likely.
Orrr you could lurk Craigslist and see if you find a needle in a haystack in a lot of g1 ponies. But other collectors are pretty much on top of that all the time it seems.

she's sought after but not actually rare. Have patience and know your top bidding price. Usually eBay is the best place for her. The better the photos, the higher people will bid. Rapunzels with uncut straight hair can sell for half the price of Rapunzels with mint / straw curls and great photographs. So if you're willing to do a bit of beauty parlor on her, you can probably win her for less.
I have seen her MIP a handful of times, but if you keep watch you should be able to find her near mint, loose with accessories.

She has popped up more on ebay than Sweet Scoops. I think you can look back as far as 2 or 3 months for a completed listing on ebay.
