Probably a stupid thing to ask as it's my own country, but I really couldn't find it.
Does anyone know if the clearing costs (not sure if that's the correct translation?) you have to pay depend on the value of the package? What I already know is that you have to pay extra when the value is over €22, but what I'd like to know if the actual amount depends on the value. I always thought it did, but now I had to pay €18 for a package with a value of €24, while I had to pay the same a while back for something with a value of €40.
It's no problem or anything, I knew beforehand that I would have to pay extra. But I would just like to know what to expect next time since I thought it worked differently. :)
Thanks! :D

Well for some reason if you're receiving, they also charge you for a percentage of the shipping costs :/ So keep that in mind. I'm not entirely sure about the rest tho

Wow, that's really unfair. :|

There is probably a handling fee from the carrier. In the UK I think it's £8 to Royal Mail for the inconvenience you cause them

En nee, je wordt er niet vrolijk van...
Sorry: translation: No, you won't be happy about it...

Oh yikes! In that case I guess I should be happy that I had to pay "only" €18.
Thanks for the link!
