Some time ago I promised to make a video on how I de-frizz pony hair with a flat iron. It took me a while, mainly because I was lacking a decent camera (bought one just for this video, oh my), but I've finally come around now and am very proud to present it to all of you!
Please let me know if you notice anything I could do better. I hope it helps and explains how I treat pony hair!
You can find the video here: https://youtu.be/UNaGuPRXiE4
Thanks everyone who watches it, I hope you enjoy it!

I watched your video! It's really helpful, and I'll definitely be trying this! I was a little worried about doing this, but after seeing someone do it on a video in real time reassured me! Thanks for making this! :)

I watched it and commented. Great video, but I'll restate that you should be more careful about water and your ponies to prevent rust and mold issues.

Good video! :ohyeah:
I use the same method to fix the hair of my ponies :)
I just clicked on the "Subscribe" button ;)

Thank you guys so much for commenting (here and on YouTube), liking and even subscribing! :) I was very nervous about the video, I regularly do videos/streams with voice commentary for work but never yet a video that shows me (even if it is only my hands), so it was a first!
Yeah, I actually didn't think of the mold issue, as I never had to really deal with it here myself other than on newly acquired ponies. I used many of my childhood ponies as bath toys, and to this day they didn't develop any mold even though they were submerged in water a loooot, haha :D But this might very well be because of the climate here or any other reason, and does not mean it won't happen to others, so I should take this into account if I make another video.

My child hood ponies got VERY moldy from my water play, it's why I brought it up. But I'm so glad yours never did and your climate prevnts it! Wow, lucky!!
Yeah as a rule I get the hair wet but hold it against the water so that it doesn't hit and saturate the roots. I have gone so far as t remove the washers from most of my ponies and replace them with zip ties to help prevent issues but I know not everyone is into doing things that way.

I was looking for a tutorial like this for frizzy G4 tails! I'll have to experiment with my spare plugs from doing customs. :P thank you for making this!

I watched this video and subscribed but due to my bad English I need to watch it again calmly.
Thanks for sharing, I want to try it with some of my guys.
