Title: Lets start a new one! Show off your pony collection/Room!

I know there has been many of them in the past. But they are getting older and lots of the pictures are no longer showing up. I hope this is ok Mods to start a new one. There is some current pictures of my collection. I have sold off many last year and its small now. Thank you for stopping to look and hope to see pictures of your collection! Sorry they are not the best of pictures with my phone.

Yes! I had pony room v.3 on display... still searching for a forever ponyroom. I got chased out of v.1 because of moisture issues :pout: (in basement) and believe it or not, even v.3 is already GONE! :shocked: We need some new roof vents put in, and of course the attic access is in the closet of the pony room, so everything had been taken out and put away for safety! >_<

I just bought my first house and I have gained this fantastic craft/pony room. It will be quite a while before its ready though, haha.

That stinks, but it will all be worth it in the end. I bought my house back in 2005 and did not get the basement and pony room done till last year. It will be worth it all in the end. I would love to make it to a pony meet! Have never made it to one or a pony fair after all of these years.

Oooh I love this seeing everyone's collections and it's great timing for me as I have just managed to get mine out on display after moving, before that they were always just all in boxes under the bed.

I am still restricted for space and ponies are a bit all crammed in there, I have yet to sort out raisers, but I think it's a lot better for them to be out of boxes and for me to be able to actually see them.

Oh my word do I wish she was the real deal ...ultimate never in a million years will I have her Grail. :blink:

I did wonder, thought maybe a hidden gem I was unaware of had been spotted lol, hee hee like I said pretty standard collection. Nice compliment for my custom though :)

Dang girl! That is a good looking custom. Achab might have noticed something else too, but that's what jumped out at me. And hey, you never know, you could find Easter pony in the wild. I thought I'd never own a Punzie because I don't want to pay $1000 for one pony but I got her in a lot just this weekend :shocked:

Probably so! I'll have to throw a thread up in the brag arena soon.

Here are photos of the ponies I have on display with the new addition of Rapunzel. I don't have too many of my ponies out right now as I have limited room to display them. Once we buy a house later this year I should be able to get them all out and have a pony room again :lol:

My daughter's favorite thing to do with the collection is set up displays using her favorite ponies and accessories. You can see on the bottom shelf she has the ponies celebrating Baby Shady's birthday and going to the hair salon. She is beyond excited to have a pony room where we can put up all the other playsets including Paradise Estate. Imagine how much fun it will be to arrange ponies in that huge mansion!

I'm so jealous of this big, bright pony rooms! I do what I can with the space I have, which is our walk-in closet. And while it's small and a bit cramped, it makes me so happy to go inside and see it.

I'm still working on my room. My husband and I bought a house last summer and I'm kinda sad because there are two spare rooms in the house, and I picked the smaller one -without realizing it- for my pony room. I need more shelves, MORE SHELVES! So there are still ponies in boxes, in the closet, etc. I have a LOT more G1s than shown, but they're in a carrying case until I get more wall shelves from IKEA. I also have all of the G4 brushables that have been released, but as you'll see in one picture, I'm slowly working on filling up a nail polish rack with them. I need to buy another because one definitely isn't enough.

It really is like a portal! :) I always feel relaxed when I go inside. It may be small but even my husband knows that when I go in the closet, it's "pony time." :P

Bright eyes your repunzal is gorgeous I can't believe you got her in a lot, congrats. I also love how your ponies and play sets are still played with by your daughter.

I LOVE the closet too, it's beautiful!! My husband has his office which is termed his "man cave" but I really think I should be pushing harder for a pony cave like that closet.

Oh and notice how everyone starts or finishes with I need more space, more shelves, another room....a new house!!! ;)

All these ponies...so pretty!!

P.s I just noticed the using egg carton for sea ponies....genius!!

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments! I've been working so hard on making that room as bright and fun as possible. It's where I go to escape the daily woes of adulting. :P

Ahhhhh! I love these pictures! Keep em comin! My poor ponies- all my loose ones are packed up! We are moving, but we arent sure if we want to stay put and try for a house (very expensive in Frisco....) or even move into a 2 bedroom luxury apartment. Undecided so ponies are put away for a whole 'nother year. I have literally almost every single G4 brushale and variant released....im not looking forward to spa day. I have THREE we love fine convention bags filled to the brims with loose brushables and a full walk-in closet of MIB ponies. Its like Strawberryreefs G4 database threw up in my closet. Oh dear....

I will say that when I do have my pony room.....it will be cotton-candy pink walls with white shelves, and a G4 bed. One wall will have all my Disney dolls as well! The bedsheets and comforter we have taken care of.... we are going to "cheat" the bed and get big boxes to stow all my random non-displayable pony merch, put an $8 blow up Ozark Trails mattress on top of those, and put all the bed stuff on it to make it look like a real bed and decorate it with plushies and pony pillows LOL.

Someday....SOMEDAY i will get my pony room!

Oh that sounds like that is going to be one great pony room! :) It will happen just takes time. It took me a long time and I never thought it was really ever going to happen!

And as far as staying put of Buying a house. Whatever you do make sure you can afford it. You don't want to be strapped to something you cant afford for 40 or so years! Its not a good feeling to wake up to every morning.

I hope there will be more collection shared with everyone! :)

You know, it's my old childhood bedroom in my parents' house. Most of the year I'm in China anyway, so I can only admire them from afar. Of course I'd expand my setup once my mind is made up where to take roots and get my own place... I also have a PE in storage... :(

Yes :) never imagined this either , i was thinking to just collect the regular g4 size ponies at the beginning and the one thing lead to the other and Now I have completed a G2 loose collection, I'm 10 Mocs from completing A Moc G2 collection, have all the Art boxed G3s, all the Super Long Hair G3s, all the baby g3s that I like ,all the Unicorns , all the Pegasus and Styling Fashion G3 Mib and loose :) and I keep adding G2s to the armies of some of them , adding G2 Mocs with different Language and keeping up with G4 releases :)

Ohhhh! Well that's understandable, then. I'm sure it'll take you some time to figure things out, but once you do, I hope you'll be able to put all of your ponies out on display!

When my husband and I were still in an apartment, I felt so bad having to box up so many ponies due to a lack of room. It was refreshing to take them out after we bought a house.

I'll have to come back to this thread in about a year.....we finally got our extansion plan OK'd by our local council, and once it's been built I will be having a pony room too :lol: Absolutely cannot wait for this! Most of my collection has been boxed for the last 20 years or so, it'll be so good to unpack it and choose cabinets and shelves for all my boys and girls.

The wonders of MS Paint collaging. Couple items not featured, ran out of room for some posters, and obviously I'm not gonna take pictures of every single page of my trading card collection (Of which I'm only missing one promo card). My favorite pieces are... a lot to choose from. Definitely that poster of AJ licking an ice cream cone, that WhiteDove Sunset Shimmer plush I won at a raffle, and baby AJ. Blazing Star (To the left of the Bronycon mascots, below the Terraria poster) is also pretty cool.

Omg.... so many drool-worthy rooms....... you guys definitely set the bar high!

My turn!! (My 1,000th post too!!!)

I apologize for the abysmal quality of the photos.. the light is not awesome in the pony room (north-facing window, shades are always closed but I still would like to find something attractive to put over the window). There's so many things that still need doing and getting nice lighting for the displays is only one thing on the lengthy list. :blush:

Some really amazing and beautifully displayed collections, I always admire when folks have them displayed on custom made shelves, or glass cabinets. If I had a room to devote entirely to MLP (and not one I'm forced to cram several collections into) I'd totally do that...maybe some day.

Regardless, I've got my trusty plastic shelves and I try to be 'innovative' when space is lacking. We've moved so many times and I try to get my pony collection out and make sure to take pics, unfortunately I haven't gotten them out since the last move however. BUT I do have several new and old ponies displayed that I've picked up and various places since the last move!

Have yet to be able to display the entirety of the paradise estate...oh, and this was taken BEFORE the jem movie came out last year, so Pizzazz is just hanging out, and not contemplating jumping.

I couldn't stand having my ponies packed in storage bins any longer and I found a place to put up my display racks again. :newpony: I'm still deciding if I want to find a storage or display solution for my mini figures or whether to just stop collecting them but I have all my brushables free again!

I get depressed and jealous when I see all dem beautiful Pony rooms. I have so many Ponies but no space to display them :(

I hope to get a new house soon with one extra room to display all my Ponies!

Saying that, I took some time to get my stuff in one spot for a pic.

The G1s are in the 2 plastic crates in front of the table. The big one is filled with mint condition Ponies. The smaller one was actually meant to be for Ponies that are in good shape but could use an upgrade. But I ended up having to start filling that one up with Mint G1s as well because of lack of space.

The G2s on the table are my childhood Ponies. I love them so much. I was such a neat child that I still have ALL of the accessoires haha!

The MiB G2s are bought off Ebay

On the chair you can see 3 G4 plush. Princess Cadance, Princess Luna and Nightmare Moon. I'm planning to buy some more G4 plush that I like.

I have some more G1s in Sweden where the father of my son lives.

I also have a truckload of G3. But I sold a couple of them as I'm not collecting those anymore.

I also got a nail polish display rack to hold my blind bag ponies. Love this thing! My blind bag ponies aren't sticking out of random spots on the shelf anymore and I can see everything I have at a glance.

I had my BF watch it for the first time recently, and we both joked that the only thing that made King Haggard happy was his nearly complete My Little Pony collection. That's a beautiful display. I love how you have the play sets in behind the ponies. Do you have the play sets on risers to see them better?

Hey Princess Lala, the shelves aren't completely black, they are more like dark chocolate color :) and as far as I know they only come in this color, buy I live in Mexico, so don't know where you could get them in the US. Maybe Best buy (Best buy Mexico carries them)

Touching I don't worry so much about. For discoloration I've got blinds, then long dark window coverings, and cover the tops of the window valances.

You're not gonna believe it but those risers are actually expandable spice racks! I got them at TJ Maxx (a discount chain) a few years ago and they fit perfectly in the shelves ^.^

Oh that's clever. I've seen nail polish racks but I didn't realize spice racks were sized so well for the older ponies. How lucky they fit so well too! I figured they were probably custom made, haha.

Oh man, your King Haggard image made me laugh. The Last Unicorn is one of my favorite books, and I watched the movie tons as a kid. I had my BF watch it for the first time recently, and we both joked that the only thing that made King Haggard happy was his nearly complete My Little Pony collection. Aww, they are all so sweet :iconclap: good to know that someone has a good collection.

I had no problem with the dolls, besides them looking a lot different then the movie and lack of articulation. Their hair was always really soft on mine, too.
