I have four keys. Van, house, security system, and a mystery key. One of those "can't throw it out until I know what it unlocks" deal. :P
Slightly off topic, but I want to collect those keychain dealies that look like license plates to various states (and provinces) with my name engraved on 'em. I had a couple but they wore out and fell off.
:)

Car key only.
Post Merge: February 21, 2016, 05:59:46 AM
Oh, and that's if I'm driving... so like 70% of the time no keys, 'cause my husband is driving or I'm biking. Which in that I case I guess I'd have a key to my bike lock, so maybe like 50% of the time no key.
-
Car key, apartment key, and the mailbox key at the PO! I use an Attack on Titan lanyard, its got three keys, cute figure kaychains, and a ZILLON of those little shoppings rewards cards you can at the checkouts! Last time I counted those it was 14.....
-
I have two - they're both my house keys. Although I only have to use one since the bottom lock doesn't seem to work anymore.
-
I think just my house key and car key... And the card key for work. But I have a ton of keychains on it. I only take my keys when I go to work.
-
6 keys on my main ring - 3 house keys, garage door, parent's, and car. At times I've had an office key (or 2) for work too, but don't with our current office.
I have them on rings on a clip, and the clip is attached to a lanyard. The clip is nice because I can clip it on to my purse, instead of falling to the bottom. And I can pop my car key off easily when it has to go to the garage.
LOL just read the poll caption - Four to seven - I jingle when I walk
It's true! Especially since they are on the outside of my purse, they do bounce and jingle with every step. Raijha says he can always hear me coming.
-
House key only. My vehicle has a fob. And I only carry my house key in case the electricity is out which happens a lot where I live since I have a keypad and garage door opener.
-
key to house, van, mail key, master key to the locks at work, master key to the nurses station at work, key to my mom's house for some reason and a key to the bike lock.
-
House key, car key, and the key to my grandparents house.
I have more keychains on my lanyard than keys, lol
-
I........I don't know........ They are in my purse but I never actually use them........
-
Five keys. All are attached to a keychain that my brother once brought me from Vienna. :)
-
Just a house key for me :)
-
Just two, building key and the actual apartment key. I add as many Captain America keychains as I can :P Kinda became a thing with the 3rd xD
All my keychain rewards cards are either pony-buying-stores or foods XD
I need a pony keychain but I never see any with ponies I actually like :(
-
Two. On account of the fact I currently live between two places ;)
-
Too many! House key, garage key, car key, keys to various relatives houses... I jingle for sure.
-
Well... Because of this I went and counted my keys. So, I knew I had my car key, my key to my flat, and the key to the outside door (cos of living in a block of flats). And I also knew I had a front and back door key to mum mum and dads. So I knew I had 5 keys.
But.... I have 6!!! And I have no idea what the other one is for!! This poll has opened up a mystery for me!!!
(Wanders off looking for what this other key could be for)

I have a keychain thing with my car key and house key attached but thats about it. I don't need keys for anything else just yet
-
I have too many... house key, garden door key, bike lock (three different ones), mailbox key, cellar door key, minikey for the inner cellar door, another garden door key (from my in-laws) and my parents door key.
-
Car, house, cabinet lock key lol i hate having too many, my moms got dozens that she hasn't used in years
-
I just counted and I have 11 keys. Two for my cars, one for my apartment and mailbox, one for where I used to live, two for my Mom and Stepdad's, two for my Dad's shed (I can't remember which is the old one), and I think another is for my Dad's house. I can't remember what the other ones are even for.
-
Car key. Apartment key. Mom's house key, dad's house key (even though I don't live in Ohio anymore, still have them on there), mailbox key, work locker key. I think.... that may be it.
-
My key collection is heavy, so ridiculous how many keys a I have! House keys, car keys, van keys, parents house keys, grandmas house keys, store gate key, trailer key.... Not to mention each individual key ring/fob that they go on to keep them seperate!
My friends always joke that it's like a set of Janitors' keys
-
Home and mailbox. I have several other keys, I just don't carry them.
-
No keys for me. I do have a house key but there's never a time when someone else isn't here.
-
I'd probably be 4-7. House keys (front and screen doors, plus back door which I've never actually used), work keys (2 doors), car key... and i can't remember off the top of my head but there may be keys from my old work that I forgot to give back! haha oops.
-
I have 4 on my chain: my house key and 3 keys for where I work (main office door, storage area, and file cabinet)
-
Way to many keys! Apartment: Security door key, Top lock key, Regular door key, (which is fun when your arms are full of grocery bags. ) Back door key, Car key, Storage key, Laundry chute key, Mail box key.
I ended up having color coded keys made, so I just need to look for the right color and pattern per lock instead of fumbling with multiple silver keys. ;)
-
6 keys (parents' home, mailbox, 4 doors to open every day) with lots of keyrings, a plush rat, one from Vienna, an angel, and a photo of my parents. I do jingle.
-
No actual keys for me, which is really ironic since I collect keychains and hang them fron the loops on my purse. I don't drive, I'm pretty much always out with someone else who has a key, and I don't own anything else with a lock.
-
3 - one for front door, one to get in the building and one for storage where my scooter is and one magnetic thing that opens the security gate for my apt complex
-
I have my housekey and that's it for actual keys, but the ring has a mini sharpie, a memory stick and a few keyfobs on it. For some reason I find one key with one fob to feel really 'wrong', like it's too light and not noisy enough. XD
-
I have two sets of keychains. One is for work and has two keys. The other one is for the rest and contains keys for my apartment, bike and mailbox.
-
I have 4 keys. Two for the front door and two for my room.
-
I voted 8 or more. It's ridiculous. I have three keys for work, but one of them opens pretty much every door I ever need to get through, so the others are practically just dead weight. Technically I'm supposed to use different keys for different doors, but I discovered one day that my office key is basically a master key. There's only one door that I'm aware of that it won't open (thus the reason I still carry the other keys).
Aside from that, I have a car key, house key, mailbox key, and keys to my mom's house.
-
I have six keys for work alone! Never mind the others I need!
-
Just two, my car and house keys. I have a keychain that looks like the solar system.
-
I have two lanyards worth of keys. 1 set has house, my car and a work key-always kept on my person. The other lanyard is bursting (at least 10 keys on it). Other vehicles, other keys for part-time jobs and extra house keys.
-
Car, house, parents' house, parents' car, basement key(which used to be a mystery to me) and I used to have a key to my old work, but have since returned it. I have my keys on a biner clip and usually clip it my belt loop or my purse.
-
I have all my house and car keys on a thingie attached to my wallet and I carry keys to all the teaching and research labs on a Lanyard around my neck.
-
Seven for me.
I have them on two lanyards to keep work and home separate.
Car Key, mailbox key, 2 house keys (main and kitchen door) and then my work keys: cashbox, doors, and alarm.
-
I don't drive, so I just have the house key and the work key. :)
-
Two or three :)
Front door, back door and occasionally a car key. I keep my keys on a lanyard, easy to find and easy to hold onto.
Love pkw xxx
-
I have so many dang keys that I actually carry two key rings. One is for everyday keys like car, house, mailbox, and work and the other resides deep in my purse for less frequently used keys like parents, grandparents, in-laws, trailer, cabin... I used to leave the second at home but would inevitably end up needing it so now I carry it all the time!
-
I carry two keys that I attach to my work security pass. One is the key to my complex and apartment. Now that I come to think of it, I have absolutely no idea what the second key is for, even though I've been carrying it for years...
-
Just three: house, house, and bike.
-
Only 2, my house key and the key of my parents house.
-
More than I thought I would have. I have 6 keys. I use only 2 of them regularly.
-
I totally jingle when I walk. >_< 2 house keys, car key, and keys to my brother and mom's cars. My car has had some maintenance issues and its easier to have their keys on hand to drive to work.
-
I jingle too :P I've got 5 keys on my main key chain that I carry around with me (which is bright pink , has a black cat on it and also and LED torch in the end :lovey: ) . I've also got a few loose keys and some keys on a separate boring looking keychain which me and hubby share until we get some extras cut ...so I'm guessing you could prolly double the amount of keys I already have then :lookround:
House keys for us, house keys for the parents house , house keys for my gran's house, hubbys dads house, hubbys dads car, our car, our motorhome ooh and I have an older keychain with a white plushie Pegasus and a plushie leopard on - those have the keys to the stables on
Hmm maybe I should have chose the last option instead?!! :silly:
-
8 keys:
2 bike U-lock keys
1 key to our trailer
1 post office box key
1 storage key
3 small padlock keys
only thing on the ring other than keys is a simple leather cross 2.5" tall
While counting, I realized I have a 3rd bike lock key for a lock that failed, removing it right now thanks!
-
At the moment I carry with me: apartment key, apartment building front door electronic key, apartment building storage cage key, bicycle key and couple of keys for the workplace.
-
Front door key, back door key, shed key, car key, work key, bike lock key, a friend's front door key (in case of emergencies!), various odd keys for lockable boxes...also, several key fobs like a sheep and a yellow plastic hedgehog that I made at school. So yeah...I jingle when I walk! :P
-
I almost never carry keys these days - we have a keypad entry on the house, so unless I'm driving I just don't need to (I could carry one as a back-up, but I'd be more worried about losing the key than I am about locking myself out).
That said, when I'm visiting Toronto I usually have a key chain with three keys on it (keys to my mother's house, my mother-in-law's house and to our investment property). And when I'm on vacation I'll obviously keep the hotel or room key on me!
-
House Key
Car Key and little remote thingy
Vintage Chuck E Cheese heart key chain on a Disney lanyard :D
-
Three at the moment. House key, gate key, and (oops) the front door key to mum's house which just sold. Would have a mail key, but they cost $70(!), so I make hubby collect all my mail, haha!
-
I have a few keys and ten people's worth of key chain accessories, which need some cleaning as I noticed when I took the picture...

My keychain is mysterious - I fell on the ice the other day and somehow both my house keys came off. No idea how.
My keychain also has a great Wonder Woman lego fig that I got from an exchange here! I wish I could remember who from because I still use the stuff they gave me every day (the keychain and wonder woman mug. Also the notebook is a prized possession)
-
I have a house key, house key to my parents' and the key to my car. That's it. A few months ago, I had to give my aunt the keys I'd had for my grandmother's house and mailbox that I had since living there because my grandmother died last year and none of us need the keys to her house anymore. Still makes me feel sad. The keys I have left are on a Rainbow Dash keychain though so yay for that
-
just the one, but i'm constantly changing around the chains on it.
