As soon as I upgraded to a smart phone(3 days ago) I had to pony fy my phone. For me there was no question "Call Upon The Sea Ponies" had to by my ringtone. I had wanted it for years. I also set notifications to ponies ect. What pony things are on your phone.

That'd be a cute notification! lol! My message tone is Navi from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and my ringtone is Leonard Nimoy singing The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins. :blush: :cool:

I don't have a special ringtone, since my phone mostly stays on vibrate. For those rare times that I have notification sounds on, my texts make the "squeee!" noise that's often heard in Friendship is Magic. I mostly associate it with Fluttershy, it's pretty cute (and it's also my notification sound on Facebook).

Surprisingly enough, I do. It's a remix of Rarity's theme from Fighting is Magic. I heard it on a pony TF2 server, and thought the intro would make for a good ringtone, since it has a pleasant sound, and doesn't sound obnoxious at full volume.
My notification sound is the Wilhelm Scream. I wanted something as loud as possible so I could hear it over my music in the car. It didn't pan out that way.

I do not have any pony ringtones on my phone, the ringtones are all taken up by other fun things. I have a Kamen Rider W text-tone ("JOKER"), and my ringtone is Apollo's ringtone from Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. My phone also uses Ace Attorney shouts for sending and receiving email. I can see myself using a pony ringtone one day, but not interested right now.

My ringtone is the default one my phone came with, I don't even know how to change it... (I'm one of those people who only has a cell for necessity, I don't get why people prefer them over computers) :blush:

I don't have a cell phone...... *feels like an outcast*. :redface: In fact I haven't had a cell phone since Motorola Razrs were the new best thing out there. Haha

I used to have the Sea Ponies, but when I got a new phone I lost my ringtone.

I had Living Tombstone's Smile song remix as a ring tone for a good while. Until I switched it to "a wild pokemon appeared"-music. :P It would be fun to set lines from MLP as message notifications tho!

I have a 6 pony ringtones in my phone that I have programmed for different functions that represent the mane 6 for G4:
"So Many Wonders" (Fluttershy) in 8-bit sounds for when I'm getting known contact calls.
"Bats" (Applejack) in 8-bit sounds for when i'm getting unknown number calls.
"I'll Fly" (Rainbow Dash) in 8-bit sounds when my boyfriend is calling (he loves rainbow dash, so it fits :P )
"Parasprite Polka" (Pinke Pie) in 8-bit sounds for my alarm clock.
"Art of The Dress" (Rarity) in 8-bit sounds for email notifications.
"Love is in Bloom" (Twilight Sparkle) In 8-bit sounds for low-battery notifications.
And Fluttershy yays for text notifications :P

I don't have a pony ringtone for calls, but my alarm ringtone is Morning in ponyville.I might put call upon the sea ponies, this song is just too catchy.

For the longest time I actually DID have Call Upon the Sea Ponies as my ringtone!
Right now it's Steven's ringtone from Steven Universe, that was used in the song "Full Disclosure." As I'm rather obsessed with SU at the moment, it probably will be for a while but I've been wanting to rotate it back to Sea Ponies. :P

I use Zedge App on Android to get tones/notifications/icons/wallpapers and they have a LOT of pony related stuff for free. I'm ..rather happy that I have an android as a friend who has a new Iphone... found out she can't customize her ringtones at all and misses her droid XD

I voted yes, because back in the day when you could "compose your own" on the Nokia 3310 I spent a whole bus journey home humming the G1 MLP Theme to a musical friend who transposed it into the phone.

I use Zedge App on Android to get tones/notifications/icons/wallpapers and they have a LOT of pony related stuff for free. I'm ..rather happy that I have an android as a friend who has a new Iphone... found out she can't customize her ringtones at all and misses her droid XD
You can customise your ringtones on an iphone, but it's pretty complicated. It sounds much easier on a droid.

heh yeah with the app you download hit set and it asks where you want to set it as.

I have Call Upon The Sea Ponies and the G1 and G2 intro theme, then I have some of the FIM and EG songs, and I have ALL the G3's songs, I mean, I made mp3s of all the songs of the tv shows and movies, I also have mp3s of the CD A Very Minty's Christmas :lol:
Now my ringtone is "We are the ladybugs", my other faves are "Colours of the Rainbow", "Shine On", "Breezie Blossom", and the instrumental music that appears at the end of the movies, I use those as alarm tones :lol:

Yes, I have the instrumental version of the original g1 theme song. I also have one with the words but the instrumental version is slightly less embarrassing if it goes off in public.

I downloaded an app called Ringtones and then I purchased whole versions of the songs I wanted from iTunes. I used the Ringtones app to cut down the song to the segment I wanted. Then I had to down load that segment to my pc and then upload it again.
Yeah, not exactly simple on the iPhone.

I had that one for years but could never find it in the iTunes Store so sadly mine is bland now: :lol:

I just downloaded an mp3 of the song I wanted, then trimmed out all but the section I wanted with Audacity (a free sound editing software ). Then I sent the file to my phone.

Honestly, I just did mine old-school by recording the sounds I wanted, then going into my notification and ringtone settings to set the recordings as my preferred tones. lol

I don't have a pony ringtone currently but I used to have an 8-bit version of the FiM opening and my alarm is now the Smile Song 8-bit.
