I won a Twinkler on eBay on Christmas for just over $2. She came today and she's actually the MO Twinkler! Her cheek symbol is perfect, as are her flank symbols, hair, eyes, body, and the blush on the non-symbol cheek. For some reason she has no blush on her symbol cheek.
I only have regular Sunspot and this girl now as far as sparkles go, and I have no idea what the MOs are worth. Did I do well? :D

The mail order ponies are definitely worth more than their store release counterparts! If you had bought a store one for just over $2 that would be a good deal. But since you got the mail order one it is a fantastic deal! Not sure what the pony is worth, but definitely more than what you paid. So good job and congratulations!

Yey! All of my ponies will stay with me forever, but I do get curious about market value sometimes. They're all priceless to me. :D Thanks!

Yes, they are worth more, but I'm sorry I couldn't tell ya prices for them! I'd love to know too! A comparison PC break down of the store releases and MOs would great! *hint hint* ^.^ ;)

I'm the same way, unless I happen upon doubles that I can sell or trade haha

Well I mean you already know it's a given that if you don't have it yet, it's automatically yours by default, lol

Congrats what a great win :)
They do not tend to hold too much more value than their store bought versions - perhaps $2-5 per pony more (the more identical the store and mail order versions the less the price difference). You tend to find them both about equally so I think that helps to keep the price down.

That's really surprising, Cat.. But it makes sense :)

Really? Wow! Interesting, I guess I just don't have sparkle luck, haha since I've yet to come across a MO ><
Good news for me/my checking account if their prices aren't generally too much higher, though!

IKR? I want both versions of each sparkle pony, so I'm totally cool with them being the same price.

Most of the time they are not correctly labeled in either way in an auction. Unless its Napper or Star Hopper its very hard to tell the difference and many wont even know there are 2 different versions of them. :) Keep looking and any auctions dont assume its a store bought release..make sure to check it out just in case.
