So among the customs I'm working on, I'm making my friend's G4 style oc boy pony from an AJ brushable. I'm having a bit of trouble with the face though. I'd love to see what everyone else has done to help me figure out how to fix it.
Here's what I've got so far:

Darkhorse, he is amazing! Thank you for posting him. I think I may have to try to go for more of his facial dimensions as I work on my custom. I also now want to go find a bunch of Shining Armors to customize XD

I had to put off working on my customs for the holidays, so I'm getting back to finishing them now. I am still really interested in seeing G4 ponies that have been customized to look like boy ponies.
And actually I'd love to see any G1 and G3's that have been given feathered feet like the big brother ponies.

all I did was add clay to the top of the nose and feet

I wanted him to look masculine without the feathered feet being a clue so I added clay to the nose, chin, and brow.

And my Smokey-hair King Sombra has a G4 SA base.

This one is older but yours is looking good, just make sure to blend the edges (something I am still learning to do).

Stalking this thread, as I love G4 boys. I have an unfinished project sitting around because I couldn't quite get the face and mouth how I wanted. It seemed like the chest needed some build up too... may try again now that I've improved some since then.

I didn't actually add any clay or anything to mine, I just didn't give him eyelashes and painted on little hoof-feathers! :blush: I like how he turned out, though!

Like 4 years ago, I did my first custom and I think I never posted him here. He was a G1 to G4 ice crystal <3
Sadly because I have been moving a lot, his paint has been damaged but I still can snatch a picture if you want so you can see where to add clay or how it would look with clay
I add clay at the hooves to make them taller, at the face to give them the colt face, at the back of the legs to make them look bigger and less round than mares, and at the chest to make them look buff haha

These are all fantastic! You are all so talented, such beautiful color combinations. I'm obsessed with color palettes hehe. I'm loving them so much.
I nearly have my head done, just trying to even out the sides of the head so they match. That said, his head turned out a little bit more like Big Mac's than I wanted but it's too late now, hehe. Now I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the body since the head feels slightly too big for it now.
@Roogna, I'd love to know how you did the feathering.
@Moonbreeze, his mane is gorgeous! Is that some of the DH Deep Sea in there?
@Cacopony, please feel free to share a picture of him. I'd love to see him.

Fimo works miracles! I made that ice crystal as my first custom 4 years ago and the picture was taken a few days go. The paint chipped from some parts because I didn't apply anything to prevent that, but now I need to repaint him and apply the coat :)
The other pony is there for comparison.
