Population explosion, that is. o.o THEY ARE ALL FOR SALE! $30 each, no rubs on eyes or symbols, slight shelf wear to boxes.
I went into one of our local stores that doesn't normally stock toys, but around Christmas they tend to bring some out from the back room. Last year they had seasonal G3.5 ponies. I wondered what there would be this year. Turned the corner into the aisle, and immediately spotted a lovely Daisy Dreams! As I am reaching to snatch her up, I'm thinking about how awesome it would be if there was an Applejack too! There was not only one AJ, there were TWO! Score! Bought them all, though they were priced at $20 each.
This week, I went back to see if they had restocked. They had not, but the leftover Pinkie was marked half price!
So I spent five hours today, driving around to every example of that particular chain within any sort of reasonable distance, buying up AJ's and DD's at $10 each. Woot!

Wow, so many ponies! Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but, are these the FS Applejacks that are so sought after and hard to find?

I wish US had gotten that Daisy Dreams. Want, and I don't buy g4.

Good old Canadian tire
They are the second release. Still somewhat rarer than the others, but not as rare as the first release.

That is one awesome picture! I wish you were selling them for $10 each! :( Bet you will sell them fast!

I've done the drive to store to store for sale items. That's a great lot you have looks like you have enough to start a fort!!

WOW! And I love the solo Pinkie Pie hiding in there.

How cool that your store has a clear out of old toys each year. It looks like you did really well. Good luck finding new homes for them all :D

awww, I really want this AJ but I cannot justify paying $30 for her. Bummer.
I noticed you said you found them at one of "our local stores that doesn't normally stock toys" which one was it?

I found them in Canadian Tire, it's a hardware type store here in Canada.
