Title: New ponies arrived 17/11! (Pg 2) and I made a display shelf!
Post by: pickwick_pirate on November 03, 2015, 10:25:23 AM
So I've only been back into collecting for about 3 weeks. But I've already scored some great ponies.

First up is she, the limey, Parroty, elusive thing known as Mimic. I figured I should just get straight back into it by knocking the expensive one off the list first right? She's nice too, pink hair streak still, no coating rubbed from her eyes, one age spot. Now I only need sweet pop and party time and the TE's are done!

Mimic was followed by the GORGEOUS baby Ripple. She came with her float and comb and she is mint. Her hair is silky, she has no discolouration or mold. Her pearly coating isnt scratched. She just has a tiny spot of factory glue on her side.

When I was out today I popped into the entertainer and they had some mlp's on sale. As luck would have it they had neon rainbow power RD. She was the last of the neon singles I needed, its also the first time I've seen her so I'm pretty chuffed. Much better to get her at 1/2 price than fork out double that plus postage for one off ebay!

I really like these girls :) Shady has definitely left me with a love for loud coloured ponies!

And last, but by nomeans least. The one I have been waiting for, for 6 years ... Baby Nightsong! Finally at a price I was willing to pay for her. I've seen her go crazy high recently. She isn't.perfect, she has discoloured a little. But her hair is still pink and it now means I have all the uk starlight baby ponies ... My favorite baby set <3

Ah, I agree! Aim high and get Mimic first! She looks really pretty too.

I like the Starlight baby ponies too. An odd question - where is Baby Night Song made?

Wow, welcome back to collecting!  I remember when I got my Mimic, she is so pretty in real life.  Congrats on Baby Nightsong too - 6 years is a long time to keep patient!  :frolic:

I am a very patient lady Kiwi! There were times I wondered if I should just leave it. But the though of having an incomplete set, especially when i liked them all so much, saddened me enough to keep on persevering.

I love Mimic and Baby Ripple! They are so pretty!

Thanks! Isn't baby Ripple just the cutest ? Her auction photo was awful so I just took a gamble mainly as she had her float. So happy she is as in good condition as she is.

Got these girls during the week ... I just love the styling strands fluttershy. She's so cute.

Think I may be developing bit of an obsession with fluttershy. I've never once been all that tempted to have an army before.

Congrats on all your new ponies. :) Mimic looks very nice and your baby sea pony is cute. (Can never get their names right. ) And yay Styling Strands Fluttershy. She and Styling Strands Rarity were my first ponies back in February. My bf got them for me.

So I got a lot of g4's the other day. Not keeping them all but they all needed a good hairbrush. The 9 I'm keeping all got a good wash and restyled hair due to its poofy-ness post detangling.

Also, 6 weeks.ago I only had 2 g4's ... Now I have 20. I guess I collect them now ??
