Title: Lady Death - Halloween Swap Pony for Jwalraven

On the list of jwalraven's likes were dark reds, Halloween themes like skeletons, and honoring the dead so I went with the classic theme of Death. The bait was a G1 flutter pony who now has a semi-accurate skeleton as her Symbol, glow-in-the-dark hair (and supposed to be eyes too...), and removable accessories. Lady Death comes with a cloak, scythe, and translucent dragonlich wings.

Lovely! I love the effect on the hair. Do you mind if I ask how you achieved that hair texture? I don't like the texture of glow in the dark hair so much, but this effect is perfect for it!

I don't mind at all.
The way I got her hair that way is by twisting. I parted it into small, 6-8 plugs, sections and twisted each section tightly. I secured each of these at the ends with tiny clamp hair clips then lightly twisted the twists around each other so they would be straighter rather than too curly. It stayed that way for about two weeks before I took it down and lightly brushed it with a regular Hasbro brush for pictures. Didn't use any products or direct heat on her so the perm will fall out eventually but should last at least a bit and feel better than when I first put it in. :biggrin:

Interesting! Thanks for the explanation. I will have to try that out some day! I may experiment with how it turns out with boiling.
