Title: tell me 'bout this kitty surprise fakie
Post by: minamarie on October 03, 2015, 04:39:27 AM: Found her today with some other toys at a carbootsale and as there are no tags- who made it?
Kittens eyes are airbrushed and there are no pellets inside of them. Material is a bit more squishy and cheaper

The only thing I know is that they are a German (and surrounding) release and I have often seen them refered to as German Surprise Kitties. Alas I dont know if they were a Hasbro release officially or a licensee.

thanks for the reply :) do you have pics of the other cats? They are not hasbro for sure

Post by: hathorcat on October 05, 2015, 11:20:37 AM: No unfortunately no pictures...they have a little bit of a scary face and thats why I remember seeing them in the past. As I say, all I know is that they were a regional release and I have certainly seen people call them "german kitty surprise" so perhaps they were a specific licensee release?

Post by: minamarie on October 07, 2015, 09:23:38 AM: I am from Germany and was REALLY into the surprise pets back than and remeber how I loved the "fakies" at our shoestore and my (and my friends) real puppy surprise but I never came around those scary ones till now.. strange that they have no marking at all, not even a made in china
