Sorry if this is old news but the series 3 funko minis are available to order on hottopic.com! The hot cash started being redeemed today and I found the codes online! The highest 2 amounts do work:D I ordered myself a set, can't wait to see who I get! Our stores are so slow getting things in that I didn't feel like bothering driving 35 mins for nothing so I have 24 on order hehe. Will be happy to start a trade thread when they get here! I really like that there's so many real colored ones this time:)

HT has 7 different ponies from the regular released at other stores :)
12 ponies , but the common 5 are the CMC who are colored on both sets as well as NMM and Chrysalis are the same on either set .
the rest are either colored or black versions on one or the other set
Celestia is GITD on HT set and white on the regular set.

Each case includes 12 ponies each- there are ponies exclusive to Hot Topic, and ponies Hot Topic will not get-

There's no black Nightmare Moon. Besides, her design is already mostly black anyway so it'd be pointless for her to have both versions. ^.^

Yeah that, same goes for Chrysalis. Their "show accurate" color IS black.

Wow -- that seems like a lot of effort (on the part of the people who decided what gets sent to which store AND for collectors). Good thing I probably mostly won't care about the ones at HT.

If anyone gets a spare coloured Cadence they don't want, please drop me a PM :) Going to try and get a whole regular case from online somewhere given Wave 2 never showed up in the UK and having incomplete sets of the Princesses will bother me :lol:

I had decided after series 2 to stop collecting the minis and sold off nearly all of mine. I kept the 2 production glow peices, my 2 glow knockoffs, and the black commons of a few favorite characters.
I wanted so badly to resist series 3!! But I couldnt do it :P
I bought Nightmare Moon from someone on facebook, and Glow Celestia on ebay. Do not regret it one bit! Theyre awesome :D
Now I really want the full size NMM!

Thanks everyone! Once these show up in other stores, I'll try my luck at getting regular colored Celestia and Luna, then I'll be done with this series.
I did the same thing, solsticeadam! Sold off everything but the ones you named and I also kept crystal Discord because he looks awesome. This series was just too good to pass up, though! It also helps that the weight differences in the boxes makes it easier to tell who's who. :P

There are actual noticable weight differences in the boxes now? Great to know! Series 2 burned me so bad because the boxes I thought had the character I wanted ended being Daring Do boxes. Dx

I shook all 12 of the boxes just to be sure, but I know for sure there were 4 boxes that felt extremely light and the object inside of them moved around very freely, I'm assuming those were the CMC and Spike. 3 of them felt especially heavy and the object inside didn't move around much, those turned out to be Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon and Celestia. Two of the boxes felt slightly lighter than the previous 3, and those two were Cheese Sandwich and Luna.
This probably has a lot to do with the fact that the characters included in this series vary greatly in size and shape. ;)

Thanks for mentioning this! I had actually feared that the CMCs and Spike would be the same size as the others (so people won't "cheat"). xD
I may just decide to take a chance and buy one of the blind boxes after all.

I think there will be plenty loose on ebay for reasonable amounts since they are all 1/12 so not very rare.

I would wait. Series 3 just showed up in Hot Topic last week and they've yet to hit other places, like Walmart and Target.

I am surprised my HT didnt already have the set in, considering they are usually the first ones to get anything within that first week.
But then again, its possible someone had came in and bought them all before I could get to them. xD
I just hope they wont be too pricey on eBay or whatnot, should I go that route. I need more minions ponies for my Alicorn Army/Herd.

So far I've resisted the urge to buy another case, but I really want to buy one more from ht. I have 1 full case, but the boxes were moved before I got them so I couldn't map out who was where!

Moondancer I learned that Funko has fairly limited stock, so they basically send to their suppliers on a first ordered first served basis. Sounds like EE is in the que but somewhat backordered. I hope they get in soon!

I got two boxes each from two different Hot Topics and I got Nightmare Moon,Princess Luna (Black), Cheese Sandwich (color) and Applebloom.
That's two of the ones I really wanted down but i'm not sure if its gonna be very cheap to by Queen Chrysalis on ebay. Hm.
Pretty happy with the ones I pulled though! I would like to get the normal color Luna and Celestia once the boxes are released elsewhere.

I got mine the other day, thankfully I ended up with one full set. I figured if I ordered 24 they'd just send me 2 full cases but no, all 24 were loose. My nightmare moons horn was broken but I'm sure I can fix it. I put my extras on ebay and most are already sold. I ended up with 5 celestias o.O
I really just want to track down show color luna, maud, shining armor and maybe black cadence to go with my black HT SA.
Celestia definitely is the heaviest. CMC and spike weigh about the same and easy to tell. Chrysalis is lighter than you'd expect. Hard to tell her between maud and cheese. Nightmare moon is a bit lighter than cadence and luna too.

*sigh* didnt see any series 3 pony blindboxes at mt HT yesterday so i burned my hot cash on Disney Blindbags. An employee said they got only one case in but a customer bought the entire box that same day!!!!! Like omg save some for others jeeeeze!

Do they really sell them at Walmart!? Eeeep the vender who does the pokemon, magic, mlp, etc cards might have them!! He comes in every tuesday!!!!
I hope indeed myTargets get them!!!! I have four in the area, they still have series one floating there mixed in with series two. I have something else to look for when i hunt for tsum tsums!

As far as I know, HT is the only place selling them right now.
I always see older pony blind boxes at Walmart around here so I'm guessing they'll have the newer ones eventually.
Target will likely sell them too, but not yet. I know a few people who have gotten boxes of the non-Hot Topic exclusives, but I'm not sure where they got theirs from that they've been able to get them so early.
Also, kinda don't blame people who are buying entire cases at HT, especially since this set has no chance of doubles because everything is 1/12. So if this is a series where you want all/most of the figures, buying a whole case during Hot Cash time is pretty smart.

I find that so annoying that when you order a large amount they don't just send a case- but whateves. I'm glad you got your ponies- I thought I'd get mine yesterday but I guess today is the day...

they carry them at barnes and noble too. i use the member's discount and get them for 5.25 or somewhere around there. can't remember.
after seeing cheese sandwhich though i might change him out for the pinky bait i was gonna use. i think his hair is curlier and will work better for the custom. cool to see the pics of them.

I got my ponies finally on Friday and they are SO CUTE! I LOVE Glow in the Dark Celestia- and Chrysalis is absolutely epic. Love the CMCs too, and even Cadence!!!!
Shinning Armor isn't my fav pony but he looks cute in black with Cadence :D
The only one I didn't get was black Maud. (I think I might be trading for her!) I do like the colored one from EE better anyway.

She will be extra once I get my EE box- but I like her so much that I am thinking I will want to keep 2! Greedy I know. I am sure she will be readily available though- she is 1/12 in both assortments :D

Thanks for the heads up on the Hot Cash! I went ahead and ordered 15, hoping that I would get a whole set (I assumed they would send me a case) and 3 loose ones I could give to my niece! Sadly I didn't end up with a whole set!
I am missing Spike, Chrysalis, Apple Bloom and Cheese Sandwich! I do have doubles if anyone is interested, I have 1 black Maud, 1 black Shining Armor, 2 Nightmare Moons, 2 Sweetie Belles and 1 Luna.
