As a kid, I wanted Wing Song and Wind Drifter, but I tend to think that's because I never actually saw them in real life. Wind Drifter's pose doesn't really appeal to me and Wing Song is not as striking as she ought to be. The first set are nice but a bit delicate.
So, quite simply, it's all about the Tropi. She was my only flutter as a child and is now the one I love the most. I bought her with my birthday money when I was five, almost certainly under influence from my father, who generally had input on some of the more vividly coloured ponies in my childhood family.
Unfortunately my camera won't take a good picture of my childhood one, but here are my others anyway :D
"Flutter Ponies bring good luck
No matter what life brings,
And if you need a helping hand
Tropical Breeze flutters her wings."

I didn't choose a second, but I guess it would be Cloud Puff because my friend had her and we played together. But really, I'm okay with just choosing the Tropi ;)
