I never had it as a kid, but my friend did, and we played with it lots.
It was the one thing I never got, though, when she gave me her ponies. Obviously, it was too bulky and inconvenient to bring along!
For years the only PE I have had was a broken and faded one I found at a carboot sale years ago. But, thanks to SaveThePonies, I finally have a beautiful and almost complete estate that lives up to the memories of when I was a small child.
This afternoon was spent with the fun of putting it together, taking photos, and then, sadly, taking it apart again so it can be safely put away and not get broken or damaged.

Paradise Estate! (Claimed by Paradise, of course! Who else?)
Paradise and the Baby Sea Ponies, out by the pool. Yes, it does have water in it! The Baby Sea Ponies all wanted to come and play in it, but these two won because Sunshower was my first Baby Sea Pony as a child, and Sea Shimmer came from my old friend's collection and so used to live in PE's pool. She seemed happy to be back!
Megan and Molly enjoyed a sit outside on the patio. I don't know what they were drinking, but it worries me slightly that the choice is either milk or wine, judging by the bottles/cartons in the fridge!
Back at the pool, the Baby Sea Ponies were daring Baby Lucky to jump in - but Paradise convinced him that if he got his bowtie wet, Majesty would be cross with him.
Cherries Jubilee was on duty in the nursery. Baby Cherries Jubilee had just finished her nap, while Baby Gusty got bored with her job of tidying the toys back into the toy box, and decided to walk the duck instead.

I love your pics of the Pony Paradise Estate :) Your descriptions are heaps of fun to read and how adorable are the rooms ;) Congrats on finding such a nice condition one. Gee I'd love to live in a human size place like this. <3

My sister was home this weekend just gone and she was very cross with me for playing with it all without her :)
I feel like a pony party is in order. I wanted the playset such a lot as a six year old, so it was sort of like going back to then and finally having it. It's really in such beautiful condition, too. I cannot thank SaveThePonies enough for agreeing to sell it to me :D and one day I swear it WILL be the centrepiece of my future-to-be ponyroom (I've been inspired now by Wondermint's exhibition at the museum in Dudley!)
