By number, I mean how many ponies do you have? All gen brushables, fakies, dollymix, McDs, blind bags, funkos, keychains, ornaments, etc...if it's a 3D pony figure, it counts. ;) I understand that some of you have massive collections and might not know your exact numbers or want to count them, so ball park numbers can work too.
I feel like this topic may have existed before, but I haven't seen any recently (and the search function doesn't want to work to check). I thought it might be fun to discuss.
Me personally, my ponies are kind of everywhere right now, and I'm organizing to downsize, but I'd say I have around, but less than, 50.

At the moment I have 247 figures total in my collection.
Breaks down to:
65 brushable ponies
1 Spike the Dragon figure
181 mini figures
I keep a google doc list of all my ponies with a running count. So, it's easy for me to keep track. ;)

Well, the excel sheet I use to keep track of them has 470 entries. 3 of those are fairy tails, but I have several undocumented g4 brushables and Funko figures in my possession that make my pony count over 470. Not to mention fakies, customs, and plushies.

Hmm, I know my ebay lot a few days ago brought my count to exactly 100, not counting blind bags and McDs, but I've gotten more since then, so I'd have to say about 150 altogether. I'll get an exact count tomorrow.
On a somewhat related note, when I started collecting in 2011, I had only four ponies! And look where I am now!

Maybe 20. I've had tons but in the end just prefer my favorites.

Let's see... In my own permanent presently completed to my own taste collection (I have about a dozen customized ponies for sale and 20 waiting on customization or sale, but as those are not keepers I'm not totaling them here):

I have at least 300. The the bulk of mine are G1 since that's the generation I grew up with.
I have probably 10 G2.
30 G3's

The rest are G1s.

Twenty. Eight brushables (two each from Gens 1-4, excluding 3.5 though I'd like to add some one day), a few happy meal toys, a few plushes and other things like that, and one mini funko mystery figure I just got today. I've currently got one more pony on the way for my birthday.
I just started collecting in June though.

No idea about the exact numbers.
About 250 G1 I think.
2 G2 babies.
About 300 G3.
1 G3.5.
Maybe 100 G4
That's without any Plushies, Petites, Ponyville or Blind Bags.

G1 and G2. About 150 - 200 I think, might have more. I havent counted them in years. :P

I went through and counted them when I put my ponyroom together. I have a total of 209 ponies, which is a lot less than I thought. But my extras who's in bins where not counted and I don't feel like digging through and count them now :P.

I don't know a full generation tally as I have never included g2, g3 or g4 in any counting, nor mip or doubles.
I believe with g1 alone it is in the vicinity of 1200. Without knowing how many other gen ponies I have I can't be more exact. I need to inventory.
I only have maybe 15 g4 though, and I have sold half my g3.

I need to check my lists, but I'd say around 300 ponies. :shocked: Which is, insane really. :lol: The majority of my herd are G2s, then G3s, and G4 and G1 are in tie for 3rd place.

I don't even know any more. XD Last I counted it was in the high 800s. Must be nearing 1,000 by now. I really ought to sort my collection out.

I have 975 ponies. I ONLY count actual brushables (of all generations), Funko ponies, and Funko Pop ponies. This does not include blind bags, McDonalds ponies, or plushies.
I am not sure how many of each generation, though. G1 triumphs in quantity, though.

I just took count of all of mine and it comes up to 328 MLP toys in total. It gets kind of squirrely since we all have different standards of what counts. I'll admit, some of the ones I counted aren't really toys, like the Twilight piggy bank, but I do have:

oh lord, I don't think I even want to know the exact number to be honest XD I have a spreadsheet but I count Ponyvilles seperately (or I used to; I gave up on it after a while) and it's hard to figure out how to count what, but... counting Equestria Girls, at least 450? Probably closer to 500, to be honest ^^; I have no idea how this happened..

Brushables... Roughly 75 across gens, I have no idea about blind bags and stuff.. They're all over the house :blush:

I know I have over 800 G1s - but including my G3s and G4s, it's well over 1,000.

I'd have to guess about 700 G1's and 25 G3's... I haven't counted for a few months.

I have about 30 now, give or take a few, though I recently had a ton more (in the realm of maybe 175 or so). I did a MAJOR clean-up of my room after I met my boyfriend, so I got rid of mostly all my toys. Got about 3 large bags of multi-colored plastic horses by the dumpster in the apartment parking lot :-P Hopefully someone will enjoy them, or not. I couldn't care less.

I've just been updating my spreadsheet. My totals now are:
G1: 142
G2: 27
G3: 26
G4 brushables: 14
Total: 209
If I include the blind bag figures it comes to 223. I'm going to need some more shelves...

This thread has inspired me to finally sit down and start cataloguing.
I've got as far as 1988ish and my running total is currently at 413...
Seven more years of G1 to go...;)

Lol I haven't kept track for the last year, so that's going to be quite the job when I get around to it! I've also done some selling, so.. maybe 600ish? I also just brought home the last of my fakies, so ummm.. probably another 100 of those?

I have no idea ;P When counting I would normally not include any other gens than G1 or anything other than "brushable" ponies to be honest. I have complete collections but all in thats not as many as you would acctually think. Now combs and brushes....seriously dont ask me how many of those I have :P

Oh it's been over a year since I counted. Something like 600 brushables of all 4 gens, but that's only regular sized brushables, doesn't count anything else. I should count again at some point.

Some of you have a number that always impress me! Where do you have all the ponies - I wouldn't have found room for them all in my apartment :) I'm amazed at that - such an awesome job of hunting them all down as well.
I have 33 ponies - 21 are childhood ponies, and I've added the rest as an adult (bought all my favs from childhood - ALMOST ;) ). Most of them are G1 - or all of them are G1, except for one G3. Snowflake. She is just so awesome she deserves a place in the herd even though I don't really collect G3s.

Hm... 24-27 (depending on counting multiples or not)
G3 Brushables: 12... Or 10 if you don't count repeats.
G1 Brushables: 1 (I ended up with my first in a lot of mostly G3s... It's all downhill from there, right? =P)
