Title: New Items found in stores! Pic Heavy includes Playskool Friends Ponies

Hi, everyone.

I found some new MLP items at Walmart today.  I was surprised to see Moodancer with Minty. I thought Moodancer was in a bigger set with more ponies.

Where did you find the playskool ponies in the toy isle?  Were they with the pony stuff or the toddler stuff or somewhere else?

I do believe that there is a collector pack coming that will include all of the ponies available in the two packs.

it looks like from the pictures they are next to the normal pony stuff. I bet the stuff like the popping ball Pinkie, and RainbowDash glow toy will be with the Playskool stuff.

The collector pack won't include all the ponies. I think star song is exclusive to the castle.

I don't think they are squishy since they are toddler toys. I think they are a hard plastic.

Each Playskool set  of ponies is  $6.44 plus tax. They were with the other MLP toys. I was really surprised to see them because usually that Walmart hasn't been getting a lot of new stuff,

The UPC for Moondancer and Minty is : 3050931453 I don't have the UPC for the others. 

Good luck everyone on finding them.  :) Thanks for the info on the collector pack and castle Wardah and banditpony. For some reason I really though Moondancer was only in the big set.

Oh WOW! Hehehe we are NOT supposed to put the new fall items out yet!!! One of the CEOs actually visited us last night at my store and told us to make sure we dont put it out yet. Me and the other dept manager of toys (im sort of the supervisor\assistant overnights of the GM) right now (at this very shift I'm typing this!) are actually looking for these as we are sorting out the six-star freight!! The new items SHOULD be on the sale floor in just two-three weeks all around the US. I haven't seen these yet BUT I got in all the new Bratz and Disney Descendants!! :3

Oh yes, and the reason everyone is having a hard time with the UPCs and finding the price is because they won't be added into the system until the 25th- at least that was what I was informed!!! I tried to purchase a Mal Disney doll and it was so new it wouldn't let me ring it up on the register! xP I saw there was a system update going to happen on the 25th in the admin office where the registers that night will be down 15mins.

I'm surprised these were with the other pony things.  I would have expected them to be in the toddler aisle - I've been looking forward to getting these for my baby niece for awhile!  I hope they're in my store as well.  :heart:

Banditpony I would check your local stores and see if maybe they put them out early like mine did. The sale went through without any problems for me. Minty and Moondancer are shown on my receipt as DNCR Minty

Yeah, I've been to a few already. ;)
I used to be able to make really big loops to all of the stores in a 25mi radius, but with a baby and 10hr work days I can't do that anymore ><

In the argos catalogue it says they're coming out at the start of August but they're only available at argos.  >_<

Hiw big are these compared to the brushables?
I think it's neat how both Moondancer and Minty are in the same set, considering the others have one of the Mane 6 in them.

Another picture with Bon Bon on a box to try to make her even with the height of the Playskool ponies. I didn't get it quite right though :(  Bon Bon still not exactly even with the Playskool ponies in this picture.

If you can find them and if they DO happen to ring up a price anywhere... you CAN try to convince the cashiers to let you purchase it as long as you are super polite!! :D I am not sure if its all Walmarts getting the system update on the 25th or if its just mine-all I know is they wont be added into my store's system until then! Chances are after this month is over the mods will drop and we can put out the new stuff! Theres still hope!! Tell ya' what. If i get them in before August, I can try to buy them and send some to you!! I havnt seen them yet, but on Friday when I come back to work I will check all my toy bins! :3

I asked my dept manager where these will be located in general when they are released and on the upcoming mod they are catagorized with the "preschool learning and activity toys". I think maybe the employee that put the playskool toys out at the store Ponyfan visited just put them in the pony isle because it was relevant to MLP.

But EEEEEEEK Moondancer!!! Im snatching ALL these sets up as soon as I can buy them! x3

Princess Lala your "above the steel" comment brought back so many memories of the days I worked nights at Wal-Mart. My managers were slavedrivers and completely unsympathetic and I don't miss that job at all, LOL. I think I just had a bad bunch of managers though. :(   I was lucky though because most of my days I was stocking infants.....the easiest department in the store to stock.

I looked at Wal-Mart today for the Playskool ponies but they weren't there. Go figure, though. I live in Missouri and we get everything last. I probably won't see them until late August. I do want the Moondancer and Minty set.

I checked 3 stores over the weekend and none had the Playskool ponies out yet. The only store I've seen them at is that one store.

They never showed up long enough on US. I found them in Mexico though.

And I want Starsong so if I get the playset, I will give it to my cousin, so I love this line already !

^I just made the shelf label for them, and they are indeed 19 something! Sorry for the mix-up!

Also, I got an update! The new modulars will drop on the third but the shelves wont be reset until later that week. I got more mlp items in!!!! :3 Pics later!!!

Sorry you haven't found them yet, banditpony. I hope you find them soon. I 've only seen them at that one store although I've checked about 3 others. The last time I went to that store they only had Applejack and Daisy Dreams left.

Found some at my local TRU!!!

I got Rainbow Dash/Bumblesweet and Applejack/Daisy Dreams for $7.99 apiece...  going to check out all the other TRU's to see if they have them too!  :)

All the playschool ponies are at my Target-  and the new Friendship game dolls-

And the FS size Power Ponies!!!!  I really wanted the Power Ponies, they look so cute and AJ even has a saddle!  Except... they are $68.99!!!!  :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:  I think I will wait till they go on sale ...  I don't think these will be THAT  hard to find.

$69?  That's crazy.  They're $59.99 here.  I know that isn't a huge difference, but $10 is still a nice bit to save.

I picked up the set on Sunday, got $12 off too since I had some Shopkick point things just lying around.  The set is totally worth it!

Actually I think that is rather expensive-  only AJ comes with any accessories- and very minimal ones at that.  The Zillas with minimal packaging and accessories are $9.99 after all so I would think that minimal packaging and accessories for these would make them tops $9.99 a piece too.   But my Target always seems to be more expensive. So I'm sure people can pick them up for less.

Checking in from my walmart!  We reset our toy mods starting next week, and wow I got to poke at some stuff earlier on my shift.  No sign of the Playskool ponies yet, but we got TONS of the collection figs with the barn, and the playsets for the blind bag sized figs.  The Friendship Games basics are out too here as they got cross-referenced with the regular basics.

Did see Bratz came back, and some new frozen merch (Big shocker there) and I saw some new Jasmine toys from Aladdin!  I did get a peek at the new mods and surprisingly Barbie, MH, EAH, Disney Princess, Littlest Pet Shop and MLP will be sharing an aisle now!  They call it 'Girl's Licensed T' on the scanners, I assume it means 'Themes' or something of that nature. MLP is moving on up and out of preschool!

I noticed the same thing at my Target.  Mlp and lps now share an aisle with Disney princesses.
I did find the power ponies and the two packs of the playskool ponies.  I came home with Moondancer and Minty.  May wait for a sell for the power ponies.

I saw the playskool ponies in person today ;3 They are so big and cute.
I ordered them online, and I think they are arriving today. *squee* I got the castle and the collector set. I wanted popping ball Pinkie... but at that pricepoint, it doesn't seem worth it to me. The elephant version of the toy seems better designed for ball placement...

I bought the 3 two-packs of Playskool ponies at Walmart the other night.  They're so cute and chunky! ^.^ I'm hoping to get the castle set soon and the collectors pack.

I wish I hadn't bought the Moondancer/Minty set of Playskool Friends.  They are TOO CUTE.  I had to go back and buy the AJ/Daisy Dreams and Rainbow/Bumblesweet sets, too.  The one I *really* want is Starsong, but goodness my boyfriend would kill me if I brought that humongous playset home.  I've been stalking eBay to see if maybe someone was selling her by herself sans playset, but no luck.  Besides Moondancer, she's the one I REALLY wanted.  *sulks*
I wonder if they'll make Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy as Playskool Friends.  Fluttershy would make an absolutely adorable one of those!

Our Target did their Fall reset in the Toys this week, and I was able to pic up Mane-iac to hide away for my daughter's birthday :) I also snapped a pic of the Power Pony FS set and sent it to my sister for her to buy for said birthday hee hee Then.....my eyes caught sight of the adorable Playskool Moondancer/Minty set as I was leaving the Toys, and somehow, they jumped into my basket!  ;) I don't know yet if I will give them to my daughter for her birthday or keep them myself, they are just TOO cute!

I saw a plush Baby Rainbow Dash toy that lights up and plays a instrumental version of the original MLP song. The song is slowed down though to make it a lullaby.  It was with the other MLP Playskool toys so does it go with this line?

So far in my area only Toys R Us and one Walmart store have them.

Got the 7 pack of these at TRU  for 19.99
they had the double packs but each was 6.99 ,so for six you were paying  21 dllrs at the end, so for 1 dllr less you get Cheerilee too :)
the Castle I bought it at Walmart for 27.99  but took it back because I found it at Target for 20 dllrs :)
