The G4 zilla ponies are my favorite size and style of ponies, but I've only managed to pick up two -- Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. I found them at Family Dollar long ago, and it seems like they had Rarity and Twilight Sparkle(?). I stopped in today, and they only have brushables and blind bags. So, a few questions:
1) Are Celetia and Cadence zillas still available in stores? Are/were they found at a specific chain of stores?
2) Rainbow Dash and Applejack are international releases, correct?
3) Does anyone have them all? Pics welcome. :biggrin: I'm thinking really hard about selling off some HTF G4 ponies and MIB items to pay for the things I really want, like the rest of the zillas.

Rainbow Dash and AJ are definitely hard to find in the US (I believe they encountered the same shipping issues as the fashion style AJ and Daisy Dreams), gotta befriend someone in Canada/UK to find em.
Regarding the FS Twilight, does she have wings or not?
(And if you're selling harder to find G4's, let me know, I'd be interested if I can get a deal on some)

Dash and AJ are hard to find in the US- although there were a ton on ebay for a while from China, they seem to have dried up.
You can get Twilight, Cadence, Celestia at many different places, they are not rare or hard to find. They are cheapest at Fred Meyers, who have pretty great sales so they are sometimes $7.99. They are $9.99 - $11.99 most other places. (Target, Kmart, etc.)
If you can't find them in a store you can get them on Amazon.com ($11.99) or Hasbrotoyshop.com ($9.99). They sometimes go out of stock on Hasbrotoyshop but they usually restock pretty fast.

I believe Target and Walmart still have the zilla Twilight (she's the one with the removable rainbow wings). Cadance and Celestia were at Kroger for a while, but I got mine on Amazon since I don't live near a Kroger. If I'm correct, they're still on Amazon for $11.99 each.
AJ and Rainbow Dash are impossible to find in the US, sadly. I got AJ from a friend in Australia and Rainbow Dash in a bulk order from China.
Anyway, I have them all! Celestia and Cadance aren't in this picture, but I do have them. ^.^

Thank you all for the info! I was mistaken about seeing Twilight Sparkle. I'll see if my husband will check for the new ones at Meijer tonight while he's at work. If Meijer doesn't have them, I would probably buy them on Amazon or try Hasbro. Wish I would have nabbed AJ and Dash when I saw a Chinese seller with both on eBay.

I'll send everyone a PM in a minute. They're $6 a piece currently, which beats most sources of the real thing but does add up a bit when you're wanting to buy six of them at once. Personally I'm wondering if I want to find someone who only wants some of them and we could split an order somehow.
(They're probably going to be lighter than the real thing, because they're advertised as hollow and a bit soft. That combined with their eye designs makes me suspect they're from the same people as the oversized fillies (https://derpicdn.net/img/view/2015/5/30/907153.jpeg), which seem to be of really good quality, though I don't know if squishiness affects customizing at all.)

Ah rooted tails! I bought a set- I waited too long on the giant Chinese set that had AJ and Dash and totally missed out! Don't want to miss out again :D
problem is that Aliexpress doesn't ship to my state so had to send it to my mom in Cali- hopefully I'll visit them soon!

Keep in mind that ordering from Chinese factories through Aliexpress doesn't always mean you are getting exactly what is pictured.

Bought G4zilla AJ and RD from someone here, they'll be here tomorrow. And just splurged on this set of fakies. International shipping's gonna take a while, I'm guessing they'll arrive when I'm away at Bronycon. Gonna have to clear some shelf space, really running out now. Thanks for the link.

That blue unicorn is dangerously close to my oc Aquatic Neon! Same eye color close body color and 2/3 on the hair colors neon green and blue but they used white instead of purple! I'm officially naming her Aquata Neona!

I don't think anything's been leaked or announced. Cadance and Celestia are still new, and these are such mass-market toys that it doesn't feel too likely we'll see anything but the most predictable characters. It's only very recently that Sunset Shimmer and Coco Pommel have broken into the world of fashion styles, I mean.

Oooh, removable wings. I saw that Twilight, but didn't realize she was part of this set since she was packaged differently. I suppose, though, that removing the wings leaves holes in her back (instead of there being panels or something that can close up)?

The wings are not removable, just the rainbow panels over them. So she can have purple or rainbow wings.

Yeah, sorry. ^.^ I guess I wasn't too clear on that, it's just the rainbow parts that are removable. Her wings are always there, it's just a matter of them being purple or rainbow.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack are on their way to me, thanks to HoustonCollector! I didn't want to wait on them since they seem to be drying up. Cadence, Celestia, and Twilight are all available right now on Hasbrotoyshop.com. Rarity is available on Amazon.

I was looking for the AJ and Dash too- but I don't want to pay a ton. Since the cheap one seem to be gone from ebay I broke down on and ordered them from Taobao. There are still plenty for sale on there- they still work out to $5.63 each - plus shipping will probably be another $20 so that's about as good as it gets I guess.
I just saw this Coco Pommel on ebay- the seller claims she is 8" which would be Zilla size- but the longer I look at her, the more I think she is just the fashion style one that is coming out. She seems lighter colored but that is probably just the difference in the camera they used.
But it would be cool if they expanded the Zilla ponies (although then I'd have an even more serious space issue)

Actually this RD is a different release from the one with AJ. That said I do hope we get another release of AJ in the future.

Oooh, I'll have to get both of these so I can have Twilight with her normal non-rainbow power hair and I can never have too many Rainbow Dash things.

Agree, that Rainbow Dash (also the Twilight) has her cutie mark in the oposite side of the first release, so this are second release, I wonder if we are going to see a Luna

That's because her first release was Rainbow Power.
I do find it extremely odd that Twilight is the only one with a Rainbow Power styling size release...but I'm glad they're giving her a regular release as well.

I really like the "regular" looking Twilight! I don't think the yellow suits her. The rainbow wings are kinda neat though- but not neat enough for me to pay $19.99 for that set at Target ;)

You might consider ordering them from Taobao. There are a LOT of them up right now. They range from about 30-35 Yuan a piece (which is $4.85 USD) - the market exchange does change daily, but is usually pretty good. I just ordered them through SpreeNow.com.
You just add them to your cart, add money to your account from paypal, then pay for them. Then when they come in you add money to your account to pay for shipping. Shipping is usually VERY cheap from China. The website is frustratingly slow at times, but the people are very nice and trustworthy.

It is cheaper if you can stay under a certain weight limit- most third party Chinese vendors get 40% worldwide shipping rates,
If anyone is curious- I just bought two ponies from SpreeNow (Taobao third party service) the ponies + fees at 35Yuan each + fees were 91.06 Yuan- so $14.06 USD (there were cheaper ones but I didn't see them until after I had already ordered). Shipping was 103 Yuan to ship- so $16.03 (after exchange + fees) - So total paid for both ponies after fees and shipping = $30.09 (for two)

I would not worry overly about those you perhaps have missed due to timing or distribution; as the most recent release shows Hasbro will no doubt pop these out several times during the remaining years of G4. :)

My fakies made record time and showed up today. o_O Warnings for the faint of heart: four out of six arrived at least partially decapitated. Photos may follow if I can figure out how to give them their heads back, since they're otherwise lovely (and huge).

Mine also arrived and 5 out of the 6 have their heads off as well, guess to make them into a bundle easily
I also ordered the set where the Concerned pony comes in 2 colors with other 4 additional ponies (fakies too).

Yep yep I got that exact pairing too :) I had the same six littler fakies already but without outfits, and I gambled I'd be able to sell them for enough to cover their replacements and I was right! Anyway I imagine the heads just came off in transit, since one of them was just loose, not altogether missing, but who knows? I was able to stick them on after applying warm water to the necks, though.
Does one of yours have tinsel in her hair? I totally didn't notice that in the listing and then suddenly hey lots of tinsel!

She looks great! Decapitated ponies, though ... I think I will hold off. The space issue has me concerned, too. I did go ahead and buy AJ, RD, and Rarity, with plans to add Celestia and Cadence soon. Yeah- I had bought a set of the Fashion Style sized fakies before- and their hair was really nice. It's sad to hear that the larger ones suffer in quality.

My fakies came in and they are definitely low quality - with some adjustment you can even make them into piggy banks because there are little plugged holes on their stomachs Their hair is REALLY loose so be careful. But pretty good for displays or for a kiddo to play with and not be stressed about destroying.
bu~ut for the price (6$ each)I actually really like them? They have really fantastic color schemes that really stand out, especially since the other G4zillas are pretty standard Mane 6. I forgot how much I missed the variation in colors we had in G3.
TBF the only G4zilla I'm really attached to is Celestia, and that's because her colors stand out well. The Fashion Styles are a lot better quality and shape anyway.

I think there are some RD and AJ fakies coming from China, they seem like the real deal I heard,but they are not, something about their belly seams being in a weird shape.

The fakies are pretty easy to spot. They all have rooted tails.
I ordered some Zillas from China too- but since they are coming with their packaging, I'm not too worried that they are fakies. (It's crazy to me that I can order from Taobao but my State has a ban on imports from AliExpress!)

It seems likely that the Ponies coming from China - may be unlicensed copies made by the same factory that makes the licensed ones (and maybe even QC rejects). I guess that happens a LOT.

No, that's the old Twi design, with the yellow hair and the stars in her eyes. Whether the toy itself is a fakie or not (defined however) I don't know.

Also check Walgreens and Frys for the 'zillas. Last time I was at Frys they had Cadence and Celestia.

In non-fakie news, I think I have a Rainbow Dash coming in the mail. She and AJ seem to be broadly down to $11 these days, but this one was only $10... woooo?
I think there are some RD and AJ fakies coming from China, they seem like the real deal I heard,but they are not, something about their belly seams being in a weird shape.
Well she came today and doesn't seem fake? Her tail all comes out of one big hole, like the first three but unlike the blatant fakies. She's the first RD release, not the upcoming one, since she faces right, but she's in Spanish packaging that doesn't come with any stickers. And I think her hairline is a bit farther forward than the fakies'.

My RD SEEMS legit but she does have a weird squiggly messed up plastic area on her belly! I suspect the ones coming from China are probably QC rejects.

I'm not sure if this sale was just at my CVS or not, or if it's still going on, but I stopped in to pick up a prescription on Friday (I think?) and they had these guys on sale for $6.50 each.
My store only had Rarity and Pinkie; not sure of others might have later waves.
