I thought we might go with a cutie mark theme this time since gosh knows there are a gazillion ponies between all generation and we DO tend to have a lot of overlapping mark themes.. So this week we have the lovely Honeycomb, Bumblesweet, and Honey Buzz. You can draw one or all or whatever you feel. :)

Been watching these and if I can find the time to just sit and draw (gah I miss drawing so much) I may have to try and participate, all three of these ladies are ones I'd love to have in my collection.

Love the bright colours so far, guys!
OK... yikes.. went a bit out of my comfort zone here :P Just found this thread and a quick idea popped into my head. Thought I'd try a not so sketchy pony this time? And gave her honeybee wings ^.^
Poor shot, too, sorry. Night here and I didn't use a flash on my camera, but I kinda of liked the yellow, sort of antiquated effect, lol!

babyblueducky, she's gorgeous. Her eyes are perfect and really well done. Such pretty colors on a pretty pony.
Marlin, I love the exploration to a cartoonier place! She's gorgeous. The bee wings are cute, she almost looks like a flutter pony.

Thanks so much. I wasn't sure what colors to use. One site said she was yellow and her hair was red and orange. From the toy she clearly is not those colors. Her bee was fun to make.

I'm so tired of drawing bees I think I might have gotten too ambitious, but if I don't finish on time I'll just post what I've got so far. :3

There's not a set list of people involved; if you feel like participating please feel free! The more the merrier! If you don't have the time that week to do it, it's also cool. :)

Draw as much as you want to! Even if you want to draw 10 pieces per week. haha. I don't want the activities to die down anytime too soon.

My submission! Unfortunately, I realized that bees only have 2 wings after I'd drawn 90% of the dang bees. Ugh.

Well i forgot, i am getting my wisdom teeth out on friday so I don't think I'll be able to finish my piece >_< I will eventually but not before this week is over. Is it ok if I just post the sketch for now? *blush*

I actually started working on a picture, though it wasn't yet recognizable as a pony when I ended up forgetting about it and crocheting instead. :P So I'm not going to have anything in time for this bunch, but maybe I can try to get one in next round.

Weeks later, I finally finished this! It doesn't need to be in the entries. I just wanted to show it to others. ^^;
It's Buzzer with her bee friend from her back card story. Essentially, the bee couldn't find any flowers so Buzzer guided her to a field of roses by following the pink stripe of the rainbow. I had to draw her as my "bee pony" seeing as she was one of my favorites in my childhood herd.
