Today I tried my hand at customisation, and have made a strawberry-themed pony.

I've wanted G1 Sugarberry for years but haven't been able to get her... I recently acquired a baity Toola-Roola, and decided to do my own take and cover her in leaves and strawberries
I used student acrylics, and the nylon is White Chocolate from Dollyhair. I have never painted before and I made some mistakes, though I will keep trying. I don't post much, but seeing the many stunning customisations here on the Arena inspired me to create my own, so I wanted to say thank you and share this with you. I really love her. All she needs now is a name

I think she's terrific for a first custom, definitely don't stop :)

She turned out beautifully, especially considering the fact that she was your first! I really hope that you will keep up both customizing and posting!

So pretty! This can't be your first custom, she looks amazing :)

You did a wonderful job on your first custom. Don't stop now, we would love to see more.

Thank you everyone for the encouraging words! I really hope to make more customs soon :art:

That is a wonderful and challenging first custom. You might want to try and thin your paint, and do several light coats to get a nice even finish next time. You are ahead of me, I have yet to rehair, I just stick to sculpting manes/tails.

For me, rehairing was the easier option, but sculpted manes & tails are beautiful! Thank you for the suggestion to thin my paint. I'll definitely give it a go :)

I love how the tiny details of the strawberries and vines look
