Ponyland Press (http://www.ponylandpress.com) is back in business! This October, we'll be celebrating the website's ten-year anniversary, so we figured it was about time to end the hiatus and get back to work. Or play, more like.
Which means -- you guessed it -- we've got new photos of our pony town (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/)! In fact, we've got three updates to announce (and more on the way!):
1. We've just posted photos of the Ponyland Temple (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/temple/). What's this? Well, as kids, my sister and I came up with a vague "scientific" explanation for the existence of My Little Ponies, a vague history of their culture, and a vague description of their main religions. We had two pony priestesses who lived on the bookcase beside our bed, under a lamp with a stained-glass shade. Now they've got a temple all of their own. Come pay them a visit!

2. We've also just opened up a Ponyland Press Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ponylandpress). We've got photos of our collection (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1637733529776219.1073741832.1417634985119409&type=3) there, as well as lots of "behind the scenes" pictures (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1637747923108113.1073741833.1417634985119409&type=3) of how we've been building and photographing our pony town. We'll be announcing all our town updates on the Facebook page, so please "like" us there! (We've already got lots more pictures to post -- we just need to find time to put them all together.)
3. We've also updated several of the "shop (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/)" pages that were posted previously, with higher-quality images and a display that works better for phones and tablets. (Welcome to the 21st century!) We're hoping to update all the town pages this way in time, but for now the ones we've done are just these:
- Appletree Construction Company (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/electricco/)
- The Ponyland Press (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/press/)
- Twirler's Salon (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/salon/)
- Bubbles' Antique Shop (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/antiqueshop/)
- Bouncy's 2007 Summer Catalog (http://www.ponylandpress.com/town/shops/bccat07/)
Thanks for looking!

How fun! You are both so creative. :) I love the Temple page, and the Temple itself. Wow, that must have taken a long time to construct!
-
It's such a great website! Years ago I bought my MIP G1 April Birthflower pony from you.
-
I've always love looking at the Photos from Ponyland Press! It's one of the few sites I used for a pose guide or for higher quality of photos!
-
I LOVE your website - I am going to enjoy the new updates! :)
-
I really think your website rules. I have been to it more than once. The stories are so cute they make the ponies come to life. :)
-
I loved your site, glad it's back and active :)

I loved looking at the beautiful photos and reading the cute captions on the "shop" pages! I was really impressed with all the little accessories that made the scenes come to life; it was especially fun spotting cute, quirky items in Bubbles' Antique Shop. :)
-
;) amazing!! I love your pics!! so great!!! ^.^ ^.^
-
Yay! How lovely to see some new pictures and set ups! Thanks for sharing :)
-
I spent a couple of hours poring over the great stuff on the site. :) I just couldn't stop looking. I loved it all, but I think the Antique Shop may be my favorite. I love going to antique malls to look for Ponies and other vintage toys, so the Antique Shop made me feel very nostalgic! I also really liked the Temple page, as I mentioned above. Very creative!
I also like how you utilize duplicates of the same Pony by giving her/him different names. That's a very nice way of involving duplicates!

I really had a fun time browsing and reading all your ponies' stories

Shut up this is so cute!!

I'm so happy to see this site still up and running! It's been one of my go-to references for quite some time, and it warms my heart to see the creativity and hard work that went into creating your pony city. I'm always amazed by the attention to detail in your photos. The stained glass artwork in the Temple is beautiful!
-
Oh yeah I saw those. Absolutely stunning! How did you make the temple and stained glass windows and beautiful props?
-
Yay! I remember this! I liked the Facebook page -- looking forward to seeing lots of cool new stuff!
-
