Hello there,

My name is Helen, I am a mother of 3 (two teenagers and an almost teen) and live in West Yorkshire, UK. 

My two youngest and I attended the BUCK convention in Manchester for the first time last year, and had a wonderful weekend.

We are keen followers of MLP. 

I also love retro toys and collect dolls of various types - mostly modern, but ranging from BJDs to Sasha dolls of the 1960s.  I, like many others, love hunting for the 'hard to find' items and enjoy a look in thrift/charity shops.

We love craft/model making/art and have many, many projects under way.  Some day some might even get finished!

Welcome to the Arena! How great to enjoy your interest in MLP with your kids! Do you like any particular (or all :) ) generations of pony?

Conventions are lots of fun, glad you had a great time. We also have doll collectors here on the Arena, I'd recommend checking out the dollhouse forum! Since you and your family love crafty things, have you ever thought about making custom ponies? It's tons of fun! Enjoy the forums!

As well as ponies I have a fairly good sized collection of Bratz.  When I was buying them madly I always loved trying to hunt down elusive jewellery for them.  I'm sure you will love the forums, and don't forget to check out the Dollhouse for threads about all kinds of dolls :D
