Hi,
I am really interested in the MLP stickers that came with the ponies. Just thought I would ask others..what is you favorite sticker, the one you have wanted, never found, and how long have you waited for one to come available, or which one did you miss, were out bid, or didn't purchase and when you went back it wasn't available anymore?
I would say my favorite sticker is Medley..the one I want the worst is cuddles with the white face, I haven't collected long so I have only known about this variation a short time, and I missed out on a no name sunbeam...please share your sticker thoughts...

I don't collect stickers but I know people who have paid close to $100 for a sticker they have been looking for :lol:

Oh I've been looking for various Sea Pony stickers for a long time. Only I don't have the money to pay the going rate so I've had to stick to looking for hidden lots on eBay. It's been unsuccessful :P
I'd like to own a Spanish language sticker some day too.

Sunburst, because I had it as a kid, and I don't have it now, and I don't know where it went :( I have others from my childhood from both before and after I had Sunburst, but for some reason I have no Mountain Boy stickers at all (even though I had 3 as a kid). We moved a lot of times between when I was 4 and 6 cos of Dad's job, and I was 5 the year the Mountain Boys came out, so maybe that's the reason (although I have Princess Sapphire's sticker, and Tropical Breeze's, and they must've been the same year...)
I had Sunburst when my sister was born, so of the three, his is the one I'd want to replace most. I'd be happy just to have the disc part with his picture on, without the puffy or the sticky bit xD.
But I can't afford the going price even if it did come up, so it will probably just remain a lost childhood regret. At least I do still have the original pony...

I can honestly say I haven't really thought of this question. I'm not much of an accessory collector. If I ever went looking I'd try to find Glittering Gem's sticker if she even had one?

I would love to have Sand Dollar's sticker. She was one of my childhood Sea Ponies, and for years I wanted her back, but she's just so expensive I never thought I would actually get her. Then last year I scored her with her box, shell, brush/comb, and ribbon for an absolute steal. Now I'm trying to find her sticker, but no dice so far. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky again someday and find it for a good price. :)
I'm also on the hunt for Starflower's sticker.

I completed mine but wow some of them were nuts in price and to track down *glares at Thunderclouds sticker*
The puffy stickers are adorable - the TEs are perhaps my favourite ones and Sweeties was one I wanted for a long time!

How many years did it take you to finish your collect? What were different ways you looked to find these stickers, and are they all sticker on original backing? Did you limit the collection or did you do all US, UK, and other language stickers and both flat and puffy? Would love to know!!!!

These sea ponies are so loved I wonder why the stickers are soooo hard to find...I love the colors of sand dollar pink and yellow you can never go wrong with these 2 colors.

Forums like the Arena, ebay and a lot of collecting friends who are not on the boards have been the source of most of them. All of them are on original backing (although not all in their packets). Its US and UK (not all the varied Euro releases however - i.e. the non name releases)l flat and puffy :)

I dont think I have ever really had a bargain to be honest. :P I am a notorious over spender. But the closest to best price was a couple of the puffy stickers for the Flutter ponies - they were about £10 each. The Mountain Boys were all the hardest to find.

I found a no name sunbeam today and was totally excited, I didn't pass on it again...Will show pictures when I get it!!!

Thanks for information..I have found the MLP Arena to be very helpful and what is so nice is I would have never guessed that there are so many people my age and younger that collect, I have even found a few people from IA and ND that have been so kind to me.. I think this is a great way to do something positive in what can be a negative world...I really want to finish out my US sticker collection, but the yr 3 sea ponies are tough!!!

I'm trying to find the last Mountain Boy sticker that I need, Sunburst's.. But it's hard! :) I just love that set of ponies!
The adult sea pony stickers keeps avoiding me as well! :P

I just want back the Mountain Boy stickers I lost from my childhood. Sunburst, Fireball, Thundercloud. Unfortunately, because everyone wants them, I'll never get them. Never mind xD. I think they fell off Dream Castle when I was young or got lost in a move. I still have a lot of my childhood stickers - but the other ones I lost I now have replaced. I would even take just the top disc, as I'm pretty surethe back pieces on my Dream Castle are some of them those...
Those are not so easy to replace though, when all the world is after them. My Castle really chose some bad stickers to lose, as I'm not willing to pay going rate for them.
At least among the rarer ones I still have Sapphire's, Tropical Breeze's and Snowflake's...;) and the two baby sea pony ones are still firmly affixed to DC's tower.
I've never spent a lot on stickers. Since I don't mind about condition so long as the picture is intact, I go on a hunt for them instead. I got Pearl and Amethyst's this way :)

My little sister had Sunburs too, so I'm very fond of him. :)
I actually have him moc now, he is my most precious one (so In a way I have his sticker). And he originates from a toy store in Sweden bought by a swedish collector, who sold him to me last year. I wish I could have the whole set, but I don't even know if that exist. I have seen Ice crystal and Tornado, but not the rest of them...

I know that I saw a Tornado on ebay.uk a couple of years ago, (and I couldn't bid even though I wanted to, and pleaded to the seller to open the action for me). He went below what I would have payed for him to. I know that a member here owns a moc of him. Don't know if that is the same one.
But I have never seen the other 3 of them.. I do own a Thundercloud that someone opened from a moc though and sold loose. (Terrible!) I HOPE more exist of them..

Yes, Shady had one. Ack, another one from my childhood collection lost ->< my french MOC just has the cine stars one with North Star.
For some random reason of Hasbro's own devising, my mib Baby Lickety has Baby Heart Throb's sticker. It's the only sticker I have from the 2nd set of P&C baby ponies.

Can I ask if your baby Lemon Drop sticker is on it's original backing? I have it to, but I want to know if she came on both white and yellow backing so I'm investigating that. :)

I have a goal of having the puffy stickers of all my original ponies and the few add-on's I've made over the year. But having a couple of hard-to-find stickers in that lot (and expensive!) it is not that easy to collect them all...
For me the most hard- to -finds right now is Barnacle (edit: sorry, I meant Thundercloud!), Ripple, Rosedust and Peach Blossom. And believe it or not - on the top of my list is actually Blossom and baby Blossom :lol: Those two are starting to really be the "holy grail" of puffy stickers! It seems impossible for me to find these two in decent condition ( I only collect on original background)
I have a couple that I am really glad I was able to get though(and that I looked for a long time - I have been collecting puffy stickers since 2006, and I got these last year).

Pretty much everything in the UK came with puffy stickers up to early 1988 (Mountain Boys & Princesses ran into early 1988 here). I have no clue why, but it's both awesome and frustrating at the same time...
I don't have Aquamarine's, sadly, but the stickers for the princesses just say the name of the gem, not "Princess" at all:

I was so happy when I got my Dream Castle down and saw the two sea pony stickers from my childhood were safe on the tower! I'm just scared to try and take them off so they're still on there, wrapped in bubblewrap and back in the attic!

LOL ;) Well, maybe Thundercloud is secretly a pirate, and stashes all his treasure away in Misty Mountain...xD. That does make more sense. I concur!
AND oh my! You have Ripple's! :shocked: Ripple's really is adorable! ^.^
I was very taken with Ripple as a child so I was so stoked to find them on my DC tower. Sunshower I have MIP but I've never managed to get a MIP Ripple, so it was a nice surprise. I wish I could have got them off safely, but at least I know where they are!

I care nothing for the stickers a lot of collectors collect. Zip. Maybe if they had unique artwork, otherwise meh, don't see the appeal at all.

I can see your point - they are not really "artsy", but for me - collecting puffy stickers is for the exact same reason I collect ponies. The nostalgia and good memories from childhood. I loved the puffy stickers my childhood ponies came with - and I still remember my huge disappointment when I started to get ponies that did not come with puffies or any stickers at all - such as the wingers or the twin babies (although some of the twins actually did come with puffy stickers, just not the ones I have ;)). I think they are cute ^.^

Me too! I am an accessory junkie;) Nothing is really finished in my collection until I have everything (including the backcard as well). So much fun!

I am the same. Stickers are pieces of childhood nostalgia, especially here in the UK where puffy stickers carried on. I guess that also goes a lot for scandinavia, though, as I know a lot of UK packaged ponies got sold there too.
I am still trying to sort accessories, and have just resolved to keep all ribbons, but stickers and backcards are nice reminders of the past. I was comparing the UK and US cards today for the y2 earth ponies and realised all the extra trouble the UK artists had gone to to add ribbons and braids to the characters, rather than just the bog standard basic image. It would have been so easy jyst to take the US image, but they made it unique. Just like with the puffy stickers...if you look at Sunshower's, for exampke, that's a UK pose, not the US one. Little touches of detail like that make the difference for me, and I think its a big part of why the stickers get so much interest.
Besides, the thread asks what sticker you want...not whether you think them a waste of time ;)
