Wahoo! So here's the pony I made for Salli for the monochrome swap. From her list of colors and themes I felt that ivory/cream and Victorian really worked well together. I was struck by a victorian gown I found while searching for inspiration. Originally I intended to try some sewing but decided to play on my strengths and sculpt instead. All sculpted with apoxie sculpt. I'm especially fond of her bustle. The only thing that's not apoxie are the small pearl beads around her cuffs.

Oh man, I wish apoxie sculpt would play with me that well. O_O All I get are sticky fingers, and a huge gooey black mess when using the black apoxie sculpt.
That is gorgeous.

That's absolutely gorgeous! I love that lace detail - man you have skills! Beautiful ruffles too...and I love the paint job, so subtle!

WOW. :dropjaw: She is simply stunning! I love how you used the ivory tone even in her eyes, and the subtle beauty of the pearls...her style reminds me of a lot of famous sculptures, like Michaelangelo's David. And you did well choosing to sculpt the dress; it certainly shows your experience with that medium.
Thanks for sharing her with all of us! I love all your work, and this one definitely displays your talent and experience. ^.^

Wow, she's lovely! ^.^ And I don't normally like ponies with sculpted dresses. I like the way her bustle and ruffles resemble a tail...perhaps that what makes her look more balanced to me...very cleverly done!
