Title: PC: Disney Store UK Original 1st edition Toddler Rapunzel in nightgown MIB(pic)
Post by: Ringlets on March 21, 2015, 05:27:46 AM
The one I'm talking about is from Disney Store UK. She is the same mold as the Animator series and the first Rapunzel toddler made by Disney Store although she was released 2010/2011 so before the animator boxes started out. She is in a Tangled/Rapunzel box.  Bought in the UK and has DS UK stamped on her I believe although I have never taken this one out of her box but the other UK one I have has DS UK or London or something like that one her- not sure if US one is any different or had a different box or not?

She has long hair with tinsel and is wearing her nightgown. Mint in box, no flaws. Box is multi language  version.
I could do with a PC as I could do with some monies so if she is sought after still or worth anything much I *might* be willing to part with her

Oh BTW if anyone is wondering - I'm not selling my Rapunzel collection - I have two of these dollies  - I bought one and hubby bought me one as a surprise (without knowing I'd bought myself the same doll   :lookround: ) when they first were released and I've held on to both as one was in a square box and one in a more rounded box  ;)
Thankies in advance for any help  :lovey:  :)

I shall bump back up for you as while I can help with her animator boxed release I cant help with this. I did think they tended to only go for about 20-25% amount more than her first animator release but I hope someone can advise properly. :)

The last US release sold on eBay for $810...

...so 20-25% more would be $972 - $1013

This girl is very rare.
I sold her out of box, with rips in her nightgown, for 160$ on ebay.
Congratulations :)

The interest in this gal fluctuates.

I've sold two, loose, in the past year.  The first one didn't have her original nightgown, but a dress I "stole" from a non-Animator release toddler.  It sold for $150ish, but the person never paid.  I held on to it until this past December, when it sold for $221.02 (lol).

I sold one earlier this month with "issues" (torn nightgown, arms that easily fall off) for $175.

The MIB Rapunzels are few & far between, and I noticed them running in the $500 range.  The $800 auction ended in December (when I am assuming people were going a little wild with holiday spending).

I think, if you're willing to wait for the right person to come along, someone will give you $1,000...but you may have to wait until next December ;)
