Hi everyone!
I've been going through the boxes of some of my packed away ponies and have found a 'fake' my little pony. Thing is she looks too good to be fake. She has multiple hair plug holes in her tail, but only has 'made in China' stamped on her feet. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about her/ what she is? Is she a fake?

I'm interested in knowing too, as it reminds me of brazilian baby bows (the plastic color and brown eyes) but the tail makes me doubt if its fake or not :huh:

Yes I know! I'm genuinely stumped because she does look so legitimate in some ways :huh: Hopefully some can help to shed some light on what she is!

I remember seeing a picture of her a long time ago - and yes, she is a fakie. Someone should have more info on her :)

She's a cutie! :heart: I can't remember what was said the last time this mold came around except that she's a reused Hasbro mold fakie like the DG babies. Only her tail is rooted instead of single hole. Her forehoof has the putty shape where Hasbro's name is supposed to be. Is she the same size as her real counterpart or a percentage smaller like the DG babies?

Good rule of thumb for fakies is if they have rooted tails they are most likely a fakie. Of course there is an exception to every rule just to confuse everyone and the rooted tail exception are the South African ponies. Although only adult SA ponies have been found so far.

Ahh thank you so much LittleSpiffy and archidraca! She is a little bit smaller than the normal pony in this pose so that definitely makes sense!
Lady Starflower, the South African ponies were the ones that made me question if maybe she was real since they have the multiple plugs in their tails! I still love her, fake or not she is so cute. I also found a bunch of the pocket pals pets when I was cleaning up but I'm sure they are fake too, I'll probably sell those off. Does anyone know if people collect them?

This (http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,366076.0.html) was a recent price check on the lambs so I'd expect the others to be around the same range. And here (http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,338365.0.html) are others like me & Spiffy who'd be interested here. Just pop a note there when you want to sell and we'll snap them up. ;)

Oh noes! 3rd one from the right is too adorable! Cute little bear & my favorite colors. :faint: I need that one and I don't even collect pets (yet)! :P

Oh gosh those are VERY sought after!! I would suggest doing an auction style with them as you will get A LOT of interest.

I am going to move this out to the Corral for you as they are fakies as opposed to nirvanas :)
As others have mentioned they certainly have a value and the pandas turn up the least often. They could fetch a pretty penny. I would think about auction rather than sales for some of them.

Those are super cute, yep I would agree you definitely will get more for them if you do an auction style in sales and take offers on them :)

The green baby is a fakie from a set where you were supposed to "decorate your pony" with paint or something. They also had a Baby Firefly mold fakie (pink with brown hair, no symbol). :)

Oh my gosh are you selling that Baby Leafy (cow) fakie? If so I'd love her! Baby leafy is my favourite "pony" :D

Oh wow! Yes I have the baby firefly too! I wish I could remember where I got them all from! Thanks for all the help and advice everyone, I will post them in the fakie thread for people to make offers on now!
