well I got my 2nd sweetie drops today and decided to clean her up a bit.

getting the one from around her eye was a little fiddily but it came off with out too much issues .

I got 2 cause I'm in mixed minds about the whole " original for the collection" VS. "I think it would look better IF... "
normally I don't keep doubles ... its 1 of each character for me , not into collecting all the releases etc.
so here I'm a little torn . I plan on doing the same with all the ponies who have the extra pain on them ,
2 sets , one kept original and 1 set "customized" because the extra stuff bugs me ...
I may not do this to all ponies tho, I also got an Octavia today and the cutie mark over the eye works for her , I won't be getting an extra to tweak.

I don't normally have doubles of too many ponies, but I grabbed an extra Bon Bon for a friend and it turns out she already had her. So I've been stuck with it as a duplicate for a while now. I may just go ahead and do this so she can hang out with my Lyra, while the other one stays with the other CMM singles.

I just got mine home and went straight for the acetone bottle. :lol: I like her so much more without all the extra cutie marks :) Although it seems that you did a better job than me, I managed to smear an eyelash... :doh: Well I guess it's nothing worse than hasbro would manage on their own... :)

I used tape on mine c: like that clear tape, I just cut out the shape of her eye, stuck it on her eye and started wiping the cutie mark away XD worked like a charm ;P

She looks great! I'm considering doing this as well...although with Sunset Shimmer, I might leave the one around her eye and just remove the extra cutie marks on her leg.

Hasbro could learn a lot from you! She looks perfect!!!!!

She looks much better. In some cases I've used a damp toothpick w/acetone to remove paint in a hard to reach places (like pony wings)...

Any one else think its funny though how much we prefer these G4 without the extra marks but TAF G1s are often one of the most favourite sets :P

I think you did amazing! I dont like the symbol around the eye, but Im ok with the symbols down the leg, but either way it takes skill not to smear the paint

Same here O.o plus it'll make me feel a hella lot better :huh: I'm still debating though... I don't wanna hog all the Bon Bons :(

Yeah but for the most part on the G1 they where better placed, like all over the body not just down a leg and over an eye.

/\ yes I think that's the main difference that people like about G1 TAF. All over the body and a very small one on cheek, not a honking symbol on the pony's eye.

You did a great job!
I don't mind the symbols down the leg. I think it's that the symbol is underneath the eye that bothers me. If they had placed it completely above or below the eye it would look so much better.
