I have a signature I want to use but its 61kb
its not even a very big signature, well below the boarder restrictions. So Im just wondering how I can bring down that one kb? (iv suggested it go on a diet, but i was met with silence)

What file type is it? If it's a PNG those tend to be heavy - JPGs are much easier on file size.
If it's already a JPG type, then you would need to adjust the "compression rate" when saving the file. How to do that is different based on the program you're using. But even a small increase in compression rate can have a big impact on the file size.

Looks good :)
The other option to have transparency is GIF files, they are usually lower than PNGs and still have transparency ability.
