Sunset Shimmer might just be the only pop pony I have any interest in.

The stickers in the new pop releases are so much better than they were before! They actually stick and mold to the pony, unlike the original paper sticker kind they first came with.

They're both very cute... tempting me again but I think I still won't collect any POPs. And as much as I like the good Doctor, I'm really disappointed that he's being pushed ahead of Mac, or any other boy pony that actually had a speaking/acting role in the show. POP Cadence is already out, why not an S.A. to keep her company?

Well hopefully the POP line is just testing the waters with Dr. Hooves and they'll make more boys in the future. I think both of these characters turned out really cute! Funko released Dr. Hooves before any other boys, too.
As for brushable boys, Hasbro doesn't seem to give a flying poo about brushables these days. It's unfortunate, since that's the only line many consider to be real MLPs. :/

Not a POP fan but may buy both of these ponies. I like Sunset Shimmer very much but the doctor may come home just because he is finally another boy that is not a blind bag pony. Though we need more brushable boys!

Really happpy with Sunset, I just started collecting her pony merch on the side. Got the blindbag randomly today <3 (had a feeling that was excactly who was in the bag :P others were breezies, could feel the difference in the bags)
Should really get around to picking up an Applejack pop but I have not seen her in stores :/

I definitely need the Sunset Shimmer POP! She looks great. Dr. Whooves looks pretty neat too, though I'm not a fan of him in general so I don't plan on picking him up.

Given how quickly the Pony POP line expands, I think we'll see all of our favorites soon. It's been much faster to expand than the Brushable line, given its modular mix-and-match nature.
The spelling of Dr. Whooves / Hooves seems to be undetermined. Funko uses the former, with Hasbro here using the latter.
It does kind of bother me that they didn't give him a "boy face." More variety would have been fun!

I haven't bought any pop ponies yet but i might pick up Sunset. Dr. Hooves is one of those ponies i will never care about. I don't watch Dr Who so to me he is just a bland brown pony. There are plenty of male ponies with a better design than him.

Didn't his Hasbro name used to be Time Turner? I feel like ":muffin: Pony" used to have a different Hasbro name, too

I'd forgotten about that! He had been given the name "Time Turner" at one point!
:muffin: has been lots of things. I've seen her as Muffins and Bubbly Pony, with both of these names apparently trademarked. G4 sure is complicated!

I think the differences come about mainly due to licensees giving them different names - that really doesnt help.

Well that's interesting that they changed his official name to Dr. Hooves to satisfy the fans (I guess they figured Dr. Whooves was pushing it)
It is weird that they went with neck-ties instead of bow ties. I mean really, bow ties are cool...
