Well, with the power of the Internet, most ponies are attainable.
For secondhand market, I would say most of the mail order babies.
For Nirvana, I would say a complete toyline of G1 Takara products. :)

Oooh, that's a good one, Lovesbabysquirmy. I'd love a Takara pony, but there's only been, what, 3 sighted? And I don't wanna pay $1000 for a pony, LOL!
I'd also love (but will never get) some unreleased pony prototypes, like the set of "Molly's friends" who came with pony friends!

Well there's holy grails that cost more than my both of my paychecks in a month, but they're not really my most wanted. I'd say a lot of G3's that I like but not because of rarity but more because of my money constraints and shipping costs. For dolls though, I honestly feel as though I'll NEVER get Cedar Wood. :cry:

Mimic, Munchie, Baby Princess Sparkle ( this one maybe one day but not anytime soon) , Blueberry Baskets...any of the harder to find uk variants ( big brothers especially), the harder to find so soft ponies with full clean soft fuzz (Twilight and the pretzel girl in particular) xD
OH and all the TAF babies. SO much want, but not getting xD

For me, it's finding the last few ponies on my list at decent prices. For some reason, people like to jack up the price of individual ponies from sets so that the one pony itself costs almost the same amount as the set it came from, or even higher *cough* CMC & Friends *cough* -_-
TRU :muffin: , Silver Spoon, Twist-a-loo, Star Dreams, and Costco's Minty are some of the ones I am in need of.

I'd be careful before deciding that you'll "never get" ponies that you really like. Back when I first started collecting years and years ago, I was convinced that I'd never own the likes of Mimic or SS Crumpet or Rapunzel, but slowly, even those HTF/highly sought after ponies that I'd imagined being impossible to find have made it into my collection. If they really are that special to you, keep looking and they'll show up at the right time and right price eventually :)
For what it's worth, the ponies that I'm actively seeking right now that I think I'll have the hardest time finding include several G1 mail orders (babies, Mommy and Baby, Scribbles and Dabble...) and G3s Licensing Show Pinkie Pie and both Breast Cancer Awareness Ponies. They're on my watch list, but I'm thinking I'll be holding out for the long haul on them.

Spain 4-Speed and Salty. They're just a bit too expensive for me, as much as I love my BB ponies. Who knows, maybe in the future I'll be in a position to get one, but it seems unlikely.

The 7 Tales pony Bright Eyes. She's the last one I need to complete the set but I don't like her price and I'm not really even fond of her in the show nor her colors.

Re Unicorno; I know for a fact I'll never get him because as much as I love ponies, there's no justifying upwards of £200 for one! At this rate it also seems I'll never get regular Majesty, either. She always seems to have age spots or otherwise be in an overall horrendous condition when I find her. -_-

The last RE:Unicorno I saw on eBay went for £75, so don't give up hope :)

:blush: I doubt/ I wonder if I'll ever find the last greeks I am missing, they are so rare they do not appear often and (of course it is highly easy to understand) when people have them they do not sell them :lol: :lol: (that is what I will do too :P :P ) oh and I forgot to mention the financiel apect too ^.^

There are ponies I want and somehow they seem to be easier to get than Galaxy, especially spotless one.

I've acquired most of the regular release ponies that I REALLY wanted for my collection, so I have been lurking on the Nirvana and Nirvana Sales pages for several months now admiring and researching ponies and prices. There are some that I think I might reasonably be able to get one day with a little luck and patience (Argie Moonstone, Argie Windwhistler, some of the Argie and Brazil TAFs), but there are some that I doubt I'll ever get due to their rarity and price point (some of the Moonstone variants and Spanish/NC ponies).

Quite a few toy only G4 ponies. However, Feathermay, Cherry Pie, and Minty are the ones that stick out. I didn't bother getting them while they were in stores, so I doubt I'll get them now. Also, I'm trying to cut down on stuff.

Basically all but a few Nirvanas. They are so cute but:
1) they are also very expensive
2) vinyl deterioration makes them a poor investment
3) there are SO MANY

Very good condition Punzie (with accessories) - but I'd settle for a replica.
I was also going to say Hollywood but I won her in a group lot of ponies that had makeup all over them. A quick scrub and hair wash and she was as good as new (even with factory curl). Just goes to show that even in the messiest lot you can find a grail.

All 3 UK jelwery babies, Baby Liquorice, Baby Lollypop, German Raindrop, Mimic, all the TAF babies, The pearlized babies.
I'm sure there are more but that's all I can think of right now.

Columbian Daddies (even if I had the money and found them fore sale, not sure I'd pay that kind of money for them...), Greek Ladybird, UK Mountain Boys (I might cave and buy an Ice Crystal someday), and glitter FUNKO Princess Luna.
I hate spending a ton on a pony. I like buying fixer-uppers.

I feel the same way about nirvana ponies except a handful and I'm looking at customs. I love French Windy and Argie Orange Halfnote but will never buy them because they are worth too much money. I think gonna make myself a ladybird pony by just putting new symbols on a bait Peachy. No substitute, but still a small consolation?

I got Gingerbread recently for about £20, was worth it to get one free of the brown spots. She's got some pearly coating missing from her eyes though so still not perfect. She's already rock hard but maybe that's a good thing.

Mimic. I love her and want her really badly, but I don't think I'll ever be that desperate to pay such a ridiculous price for a little green plastic horse. And as she wasn't available in Germany there's hardly any chance to find her in the wild :(

Quite a few G2s because they're rather expensive/hard to find
G4 wise I wanted the castle set with the Shining Armour/Candence set, but I think I sort of missed out on getting those at retail when I had the chance and the same for some other early G4 sets like I want them but don't really feel it's worth going down the Ebay route atm

Same. I want Mimic to have the pride of owning her but I'm not forking out $100 for a pony, let alone one I'm not over the moon for.

I doubt I will ever own Rapunzel. Shes great and all maybe I have to settle for a custom of her someday. :/ There are some more expensive mail orders that I love to own. However they are more attainable than Rapunzel.
