So for the Art Swap, I decided to try out an idea I've had for a while; Crystal Rarity. Here's how she turned out!

She was supper fun to make. After I had the hair up in straws and dry, I used glitter blast for a base and used glossy modge podge to attach the hexagons. I then removed the pins and straws and used superglue and scissors to adjust the style of the hair. That allowed some of the glitter blast to create glittery highlights in her hair! When She was dry of everything I sealed her up with Testor's Dullcote.
Please feel free to add some constructive criticism. I'm always trying to improve!

gorgeous, what a lovely idea

Neat though I have no clue what glitter blast is, it looks fun to play with.

It's a aerosol can that sprays just glitter like you would use spray paint.

Glitter blast sounds magical! And she is beautiful, the hairdo is just right and her glittering is great. Good job! Though now I crave glitter blast....

So cool! She makes a perfect ornament!

Thanks I might just have to look for some of that.

Oh my gosh, her hair!! You do the most wonderful curls and styling! I adore her, the sparkles are the best!
I've been thinking about using that Halloween glitter blast in pony hair before but I'm worried about what it will do the texture. This makes me want to experiment, it looks so luxe.

Thank you for the complement! I started custimizing by doing pony hair because I was not happy with the G4's look, so I've had a few years of practice to figure out hair, and I'm always improving!
Glitterblast does have a rough texture, but I think using it lightly while it was still curled in straws helped make it highlights and not so stiff everywhere.

Here's a close up of her hair that my swap partner took. As you can see, it's just a tiny bit, but before I released the hair from the straws, it was almost all over the hair.
