I keep itching to get a Barbie doll, give her a makeover, and then run around eBay buying all the fancy clothes from the adult collector series'.
I'm leaning towards getting the Katniss doll as I want fully jointed and I like her face shape. I may also get her a boyfriend.

I collect barbies.. I like the 90's barbies with big hair and the model muse barbie dolls =)
-
I collect Barbies too. :) I think the older Fashionista dolls were fully articulated (maybe not the ankles) also but the newer basic Barbie Style dolls aren't as articulated as the old Fashionista dolls.

I love Barbies! I collect vintage ones from the 60's.
-
I collect Integrity fashion dolls- which are similar (but I think better!) I love the clothes, shoes, accessories...
-
I collect Barbies :D I have a ton of them, too many! My favorite series is the Children's Fairytales and Ballet series :) I didn't get the Ballet Wishes doll that came out last year, but I want her and the new one!
-
Since everyone is saying what type of Barbies they collect I'll add what I collect also. :) I have a little bit of everything in my Barbie collection except I don't have any vintage. So many of my dolls are my favorites it would be hard to name just one.

I have a small collection, focusing on Barbie in the 80's. I also recently got a 1971 Malibu Barbie (with swimsuit, sunglasses, and the wrong towel) and an original 1964 blond Skipper (with red and white swimsuit, headband, shoes, and white brush).

I have a few! I love the Ballet Wishes doll and the Princess of Korea Barbie doll! I see Barbies in thrift stores and I have been wanting to make an OOAK Briar Rose doll, my inspiration is Luleme! I also want the Disney Barbies with the Minnie Mouse ears in Clearance! :3

I collect 80's Barbie's :)
-
I only have one Barbie, but I sometimes think about getting into collecting them - there are just so many options out there that it would be a challenge not to immediately go overboard, I think!

Yeah i know! but thats why i don't collect vintage. I prefer late 80-90's dolls and some new ones.
-
I collect too! I mainly collect vintage 60's dolls now but I have many from the late 90's and more recent. I prefer to collect fantasy themed dolls and ballet dolls.

Gorgeous dolls!
I think I'd be happy with a handful of dolls but loads of clothes for them - particularly fancy dresses and probably the odd suit of armour!
I'm a bit tempted to make my OH a Night Elf from WoW... ;)

I only collect ones from charity shops, and only collect black fashion dolls and similar sized pop singer ones and action figures (who won't admit they are dolls too!), they're in a box ready to move now so can't post pics. Have quite a few of the usual Christie types, a Kenyan Barbie, a few from boybands and Disney musical high school films I won't admit to owning! I wish the female dolls didn't have such scary skinny necks though, and would be nice to own a few Barbie type dolls with more of a shape to them, so could customise them in more costumes.
DaffyDilly, years ago I made my dad for his birthday and Christmas an action figure dressed in his old Kings Troop dress uniform, (felt, and leather made from felt covered with pva glue!) and also a soldier in Cromwellian gear as my dad used to be in a civil war reinactment society. Not very well made, but dad loved them!

I collect Barbie dolls and have umm.....a lot. It is well over 40. I actually have no idea how many I have acquired over time. Mine are from about 1985 - present. I do enjoy the articulated ones they have made in the last few years. On a side note, I also collect the Barbie Holiday ornaments, it kind of goes with the doll thing.
-
They're not my main focus but I do have a few, a mixed bag between 90s and 10s currently. I also own a straight leg Skipper from 1964, which is the oldest doll in my collection.

I just started collecting Barbie. I've only got a new one, and several I picked up from a flea market at the moment, but those unloved dolls are treasured. There are a few barbies from the 90's I've been eyeing up though :P Think it would be hard not to go overboard!
