Title: PC pony wear
Post by: Aquarel on September 24, 2014, 11:05:39 AM
I'm pricing stuff for UK Ponycon and I'm starting the much dreaded part of pony wear. I'm hoping you guys can help me price this as I don't really know what to put them at.

I'm starting with the baby pony wear and pals (odds and ends, also have a near complete bathrobe and clown suit still on card, only missing the mask)

Dragon - £3
Snowsuit - £1.50

Bathrobe - £1
Jumper - £1
Shower cap - £0.50
Pinafore cap - £0.50

The pocket pals - are they all intact, anything missing from them?

I don't think anything is missing from them. That picture does miss the bunny I have, but then again it is missing in my giant pile of stuff anyway :p

If the pocket pals have their eyes thats epic! :) They always seem to loose their eyes :P £3 for each of them assuming all good -the duck does have his beak?

£0.10 per leg warmer, £0.50 for the Flashprance bag, £1 for the Flashprance dress, £0.25 per ice skate, £0.50 for the ice hats, £1 for the ice dresses, £1 for the pony-kini and £0.50 for the cape.

Some pony wear is really common and harder to sell - when you have incomplete sets like this you may sell more by doing a mix & match offer.

I won't be selling them as sets :p I can imagine people needing set completers so it'll be by piece. And indeed, the pocket palls still have their eyes and duck has its beak. So hoping to sell some of these at the Con.

Thanks for the help Kat! I will have some more to price if that's okay, I really have a ton of these

No problem - just post as and when you need them :)

I was just wanting to give you a heads up on pony wear - the common items can be a tough sell sometimes unfortunately :)

Perfect, thanks Hathorcat! I'll prize them and stash them this evening. More room on my desk again. Whootwhoot. Next up is a big batch of ponies but I'll start a new topic for those. I guess I have nearly all of the pony wear done.

Do you have an idea on that pony wear on card in the last picture?

And I found another cookery pony apron, how much would that go for?

Oh sorry! I missed the pony wear :)

No damage and its on the UK release card? For the US release I would have gone with the $20-25 mark. For this one I would go with $35-40 because of the card - its much harder to find.

Cookery apron - £10 each (you may well get more they are hard to find and popular)

Well there is some damage, bubble has come loose, and the mask is missing :( Then maybe 30$?
Do you have any ideas about the stickers?

Oh I didnt realise the mask was missing...hmmm I would certainly drop to the $30 but unfortunately its technically no longer MOC so people may me more likely to pay the $22-25 mark for it. :( Sorry! Its only holding there because of the backcard. Mind you - set the price you want and work from there, I say.

Pony Luv without the original backing - $3

The Moondancer is a Euro specific sticker - the nameless ones are much harder to find. Its not on original backing is it? So loose $10 for it I would say.
