Title: What are you going to be for Halloween?

Do you dress up?  If you have to work that day, can you go in costume?  I think I'll be Red from "Orange is the New Black."  :)

I'm going to be Belle in her town dress! I ordered a hand made dress so I could wear it at Mickey's Halloween party in Disney World. My husband is going to be Dipper Pines for the party.

I decided this year that I want to cosplay something from /inspired by every Disney movie, in order. So, for Halloween, I'll be Snow  white to kick it off!

Halloween is my most favorite holiday of all! I just love costumes!  And, I'm fortunate enough to work on a physical therapy/rehabilitation unit, so we get to do a lot of "themes"/costumes throughout the year. (Luau day, Wild West day, Circus day, etc.)  It's so much fun for the staff as well as our patients! We get dressed up and we give out themed items (headbands, hats, etc) to the patients to wear as well.  They absolutely love it!

But, I'm not sure what I'll dress up as this year, since I always request Halloween off (because everyone in town brings their kids to walk through my neighborhood to go trick-or-treating).  I don't always get dressed up, but always decorate my yard.  This was my front door last year...

I'm hoping that we'll get to have a weeklong Halloween celebration at work, in which case I will get to dress up at least 3 times. LOL.  As cheesy as it sounds, I'm thinking maybe I'll make some superhero tutus to go over my scrubs and wear a superhero logo tshirt maybe.  Basically, anything modest and comfortable to work in. Something sort of like this...

i will b dressing up at work ! as i work in a sweet shop but on the night itself i will be............putting out the lights and pretending not to be in !!!and maybe watching a few spooky stories from the BFI ghost story box set !! xaflame

Not sure yet. I have a couple costumes I've used in the past, but feeling a little bored with them. I have an idea for a new one, just have to see if it's feasible to buy a new one with the budget this year - I work in the Health Sciences department at the college, and one program is Radiography (x-rays), so I was thinking of getting one of those skeleton costumes and wearing a lab coat over it...so I'd be an "x-ray tech". Haha.

My boyfriend and I do our yard up in scary fashion, with scary music... and so to make sure that all the kids (even the crying ones) get candy I have to dress up as something cute/harmless.   This year it's going to be the Cheshire Cat.

I haven't planned a costume for myself in years. I'd love to but unfortunately there isn't much for adults to do on Halloween except hang out at bars and that's not my thing. If I have a cool costume and nowhere to go I get depressed, which stinks because Halloween is my favorite holiday!
I dress up my dog instead and have a lot more fun doing things with him. There are a bunch of pet costume contests in my city and even a special trick or treating day just for dogs. Last year he was a monster and this year I want to do some kind of freak show/carnival side show theme. Still figuring it out.

I like to paint my face as a Jack o' Lantern, wear a pumpkin hat and pumpkin-themed pajamas and gloves. Nothing too fancy, but it's what I can afford ^^U

I LOVE going 'Halloween shopping' - going to toystores, party stores, etc. to see what do they have in stock! And maybe buy one or two things, and cooking special recipes!

Not a clue.  Some of my teammates think we should go with a theme, but we have some grumps that don't play well with others.  We recorded an AWESOME scream from daughter with the ice challenge.  I would love to use that as a doorbell that night.

Myself and my girlfriend are doing piper & alex from orange is the new black!!
I'm short and have blonde hair, and she's taller with black hair so it works. She's going to let me draw on her eyebrows and wing her eyeliner, and we're planning on picking up orange nurse scrubs.  :blush:

The school one will be a generic cat but I will be using my necomimis!(cant wait to see the reactions)
And My zombie walk/ToT one is a creepy bear mask and bloody shirt that says  "I wasn't ready for Freddy".(i wonder if anyone will get the reference)

I live out in the country, so unless there is an event in town I likely won't be dressing up. If I do, it'll likely be as a black cat or I'll just wear my kimono.  :)

I have not done anything for a very long time. Guess I just have not really gotten into. I do have Friday off but have to work the weekend. So I have to be up at 5am the next morning. If I do do anything with my daughter its not going to be late.

I got the reference!!! I'd like to dress up as Freddy, but I can't find something better than regular bear costumes that is affordable :/

Awesome!  ::high fives::  I'm trying to get the girls at work to dress as other inmates but I think I'll be the only one.  I need to go buy more red dye I think.

If I do wind up dressing up, I think I have enough stuff on hand to be a witch, so im going with that. I just started a new job, so im not sure if they dress up for Halloween or not, if they do ill have to do something lol. I love halloween, but here in oz its not as widely celebrated as the us, wish it was. Halloween stuff is awesome.

For my store Halloween party my dog and I are going to match. I'm going to be in a business suit, tie, and holding a leatherbound notebook and my dog is gonna be in a shark suit. We're both sharks.

I work at a thrift store so we have a costume contest for employees with prizes. I'll be using a costume I've been working on for a while now, May from Pokemon Ruby Sapphire/anime (red color version)
Perfect timing as the Pokemon Center just made a life-size Torchic! :D a little stuck trying to find the "perfect" top with as little editing to do as possible XD
Back-up idea would be Applejack human version(not Equestria girls though :P) carrying my Build-A-Bear Apple :P

My sister decided she wanted to combine her favorite things and dress as a zombie Ariel (despite not yet having anywhere to go). She told our friend who thought it was great and decided to be zombie Merida. To keep up with the zombie Disney princess theme I was then assigned Snow White because i'm pale and have the hair lol. My boyfriend will be my zombie Prince Charming. We haven't decided where we will go to show off our group theme.

So many great ideas! I'm going as a zombie Mad Hatter. With Hatter being a mix of my two favorite versions of him, Jonny Depp's and the one from SyFy's Alice movie. I already have the hat and the outfit. Though I may hit up the thrift store for a new dress shirt. The louder, the better. My BFF is in charge of zombie make up, she's going as a female zombie.

We decorate her house and hand out candy on Halloween night. It's my favorite holiday and my favorite time of the year. During the run up to the big day, it's stocking up on decorations and watching plenty of horror movies. Buying candy is saved till the day before. Or it would never survive the month of October.

I'm thinking I might go as an Aperture Science test subject, from Portal! My housemate has a large replica Portal gun that lights up and makes noises. All I'd need is some orange pants or a jumpsuit (maybe even a prison costume?) and a white tank top!

Failing that, I do have a cat tail and some ears which I could use, and black my nose and draw on whiskers.

I'm going to dress up as Patty O Green from Rainbow Brite. I have some friends having a costume party after the trick or treating is done. I'm doubtful many people at the party will know who I'm dressed as, but it'll be fun regardless.

At work during the day, I'll just wear orange and black.

A few people were trying to convince me to be Elsa, but if I'm gonna do her dress, I'm waiting until I can do it right. Plus I found out about a party kinda late, so instead I'm just going with stuff I already have. Which amounts to a not awful Winter Soldier costume. I've been painting a hoodie for a while and I finally got it finished, bought combat boots and black jeans, and some dark eye makeup  :P My hair is totally the wrong color, but I'm so proud of the stupid sweatshirt I could care less.

For my costume, I had to do some fast thinking. You see, for weeks, I thought I wouldn't do anything special for Halloween. I'm visiting my friends in the US at the moment, which is great fun, but they both have to work on Halloween. Then I told my other friend, and she invited me to go out with her and her friends. That happened two days before I came here, so I had no time to get a costume. That's why I decided to wear the dress I bought for a friend's wedding in September. It's very medieval / fairytale style, so it should work for Halloween. I'm going as a Elf (minus the pointy ears).

I was Robin this year! The outfit also had a tutu and I had kneesocks with capes on them as well. I went out with some friends to trick or treat (you're never too old I say!) and then watched some movies. It was a great night!

So I was just wondering what everyone dressed up as for halloween? I dressed up as a black cat. My son was a fireman , my husband was a burnt victim. The story behind it ot is that the fireman saved the kitty but he didn't get the man oUT of the fire on time.

I didnt get any pictures, and didnt have time to paint my face the way i wanted to anyway. I was going to paint my face up as a really realistic/evil skull yet still have the sugarskull art in there, I had a big black cloak that I wore even without the paint. maybe next year ill plan ahead better lol.

my son was a gladiator. unfortunately it was SNOWING Halloween night, he was in his winter jacket and had parts of his costume over top that would fit. he still got a pretty decent amount of candy.

Hello! I feel that I want to show me and my boyfriend's Halloween-costumes~

Finally! I could be a dead version of Belle on Halloween, I wanted it for a long time now. I really like times when you can play with some costumes.
I have a little explanation to this concept. That Belle had been killed by Beast and on the other side she met Gaston :lol:
