So, today I stumbled across The Freaky Fusion Frankie Stein and, though I don't really collect Monster High, I just couldn't resist. I found her simply irresistible!!! (I wish I could figure out again how to post a photo!)
That said...
What have you found lately that you simply couldn't resist, even though it may fall outside of your regular collections???

I have been trying for months to resist the incredibly cute Sofia the First purple horsie plush. It is just a little lavender pegasus, sitting down, but is is Insanely Cute. ^.^ I don't really know anything about Sofia the First, or collect any other stuff like that, but this little guy just calls my name :lol:

Lord of the Rings action figures. I don't even like action figures! But I found a Pippin and repainted his face to look more like him. Now Merry and Eowyn are calling my name...

Oh - My goodness!! I'm going to have to dive in. I have this odd weakness for certain good pens and stationary. These are adorable!!!! I wish my sis-in-law had found these while she was in Korea. Thanks for sharing... I may have to buy me some now. ;)

I had know idea they had action figures... I may have to buy some for my brother. He's a big LOTR fan and loves collectible action figures (he's kept his enormous bin of Star Wars figures and ships from childhood and totally will not share them with my son). It would be a cool gift!

I had this problem with Zelfs when they first came out. I originally laughed at them deeming them just rip offs of the old trolls. I then picked up Angelala.... and now I have over 30 of the blooming things! :P

EAH-Ever After High. Never been into doll collecting but I recently bought my first EAH doll.
And the story/characters, it's like a mash up of OUAT meets Grim. Yep I'm sold which is totally outside of what I normally like or collect.

Care Bears mini figures for me. First I got a couple at my Dollar Tree (blind bags) , then I went back and got a couple more ( wanted clover bear). And then I got to vintage minis at the thrift store;that are adorable. Now I'm thinking of a vintage plush Care Bear. I must be NUTS, don't need another collection so I must resist them!

It's been Barbie for me lately, but mostly for nostalgic rather than collectible reasons. If I ever started collecting her formally, I probably wouldn't stray too far from the pink box dolls of the '90s and '80s especially. Yesterday I pulled my childhood Barbies out of storage and I'm admittedly a little disappointed, because I was so sure that I still kept way more than I did. I had a buuuuuunch of Barbies as a kid, including quite a few vintage hand-me-downs. But at least I still have my mom's original Skipper with her red swimsuit. :lovey:
I also collected Precious Moments Tender Tails as a child, and became nostalgic about them when I found them yesterday. I'm going to have to resist the urge to look them up and take more and more of them home with me!
