But be careful with bootlegs! The pic link you posted are fake alpacassos!
I'm currently awaiting my first one which is on it's way in the mail to me!
They are far too adorable :lovey:
I even follow a tumblr blog that posts nothing but alpacasso plush and also gives advice on which are authentic and which are bootleg!
I have one ! Absolutely no idea if it's bootleg or not.. doesn't matter to me, really.
The tag seems official, though ! "Amuse" is on it a few times, front and back. But, I also got it a at a con, so.. I think it's adorable anyway. :)

How do you tell which ones are bootleg and which ones are real?
Nah don't use eBay! So many bootlegs. Go to Store Envy and buy from Rosy's Garden, AlpacassoSG, Kawaiiplushlove, and Plushies Paradise. I've bought from all these sellers and they're all great!
^_^ I didn't think there would be as much interest. I'll work on getting some pictures up of the big ones.
Until then, I'm not completely sure about prices. I know what I paid (which wasn't that bad)-- but since they are "retired" designs, does that mean that they should be a little bit more than the current ones? (Not a lot more). Any thoughts? Looking on ebay is a mess to me since there are so many fakes.
Apologies for reviving a fairly old thread, but I just bought from Cutie Pie Kawaii, (http://www.cutiepiekawaii.com/#!kawaiialpaca/cijr) a US based Alpacasso seller who (supposedly) sells authentic alpacas. They're much cheaper than buying from a Chinese or Japanese based seller, as my total for a 50 cm Alpaca only totaled to $32, where it usually cost me around $50 to buy one from international sellers. I'll post here again once my alpaca arrives. :) They've also got a store in Pennsylvania if you're around those parts.
i don't have a current picture of my collection since i'm at college and my pacas are currently being stored in a giant shopping bag, but i do have a picture with at least half of my collection:Your collection is... ugh, amazing!

OH YOU! I remember messaging you for a bit since you're also in PA, hi hi!
I'm telling myself that I don't need to start a new collection, at least not until my fiance and I move into a house and I have more room for my things. These alpacasso though... I NEED THEM.
Can anyone tell me where this Alpacasso thing started? Google pretty much turns up only online dealers in its results. Was this just a plush that someone started making, and it blew up in popularity? Or is it from an anime/manga? Or something else entirely? :P
I have seen these in random places online for like a year or two, but I didn't even know what they were called until I read this thread! :P
I see Rosietail in those pictures!!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
My Alpaca from Cutie Pie Kawaii came in! Based on this transaction alone, I'd definitely recommend her. (pardon the messy background... reorganizing!)
