Posted this on another forum, thought I would try my luck here~ :)
Besides collecting ponies, my biggest passion is FURBIES. I have a total of 249 fully functional furbies~! (Not including my broken ones I still need to fix)

All of them I have obtained for cheap prices through thrift stores, garage sales, trading with others, ebay (buying broken ones and fixing them) and people just giving them to me through the internet or in the neighborhood, because "it freaked them out." XD Not of them have I actually bought at the store at full price. Believe it or not though, I am missing quite a few furbies in order to complete my collection...so I thought I would ask here to see if anyone had a furby to sell~? (Maybe you will have one I am missing!)
My biggest grail is a set of these guys below-

Problem is, they are only available in Mexico. Does anyone live in Mexico (or know someone from there) on here and has possibly seen them around? I have been searching for YEARS for them and it's killing mmeeeee D: I want them so bad (Boxed or Not) Please please ppplllleeeaaassseee help me out!

I've got a furbie I've been trying to shift for ages!
And we like a trillion of the UK mcdonalds furbies in the charityshops (2nd hand shops), for super cheap!
Such an awesome collection though!

Have you come across any with damage from old batteries? How easy are they to rescue?

I have a broken Gremlin it moves but doesn't make noise.

I liked the original ones for a bit but the new ones just scare me with their weird eyes.

Oh, my, god, I am extremely envious of your shelbys. I wish I could help you out, I live in Fl so maybe some Mexican furbies ended up here, I'll keep an eye out for you.

Have you come across any with damage from old batteries? How easy are they to rescue?
Yeah, I have had a couple that had batteries corrode in them, a couple were easy, and some were unable to be saved because the batteries exploded in them and got inside them and ruined the board :( But it depends~ Do you have a furby that has battery corrosion?

I have two Gremlin furbies :) Sounds like your speaker went out though D: They can actually be easy to replace~ ^^

The Shelby's by far were the hardest of the Furby's to find at thrift stores XD

good luck with tracking the Gen. 8 Furballs down! you really are someone who I think would deserve them, and whom I'd love to see finding them someday.
I unfortunately don't have these guys either (and given their rareness I'm not even expecting to find them :/ )...

Holy Furby! I only have about 40-45. Jealous of your collection. My grail would be the Kid Cuisine furby. I have a giant furby stuffed animal that I think was a carnival prize. Have you come across any of the new ones broken yet? I'm afraid to try and fix them. I see the Furby 2005's a lot at the goodwill outlet but I only have one. I find them incredibly gross.

Awww poor furby ;( I have had that happen to a couple of mine before (One for some reason cannot handle the casing it's in, so it ceases up. Works perfectly fine though when the pressure from the shell is loose though) How much were you asking for it?

Ooooo that's a lot :D (My real grail furby is a white snowball with silver eyes) I have come across a couple new ones at the thrift stores that were "broken" but they literally just had to have their reset button pressed haha XD So, no extensive surgeries yet, thank goodness~
Oh, poor 2005 furbies XD I literally buy every furby that I see at the stores here....that' probably why I have so many lol.

Ironically, I just found a bunch of McDonald's Furbies from 1998 in my old house today- don't know if you're interested in them!

Pardon my enthusiasm... but I also LOVE Furbies!!!!!!! I have always wanted to collect Furbies since I was a child (i was 7 when they came out) but my mom is scared of them and so is my hisband. I would make a display cabnet for them if I could collect them!!!! I love the first generations and the Furby Babies most of all! <3 I have a few that I have recently found as a 'start' of my collection. I have the LE Easter, Santa, Target exclusivd joker, black cat, and leopard furby from the 90's. I would LOVE more!!! If you are ever in DFW Texas come hang out with me!!! I I see them at thrift stores every blue moon.

Awww that's a bummer! My family just kind of accepted them when I brought my first one into the house~ First Generation Furby's are my favorite as well ^0^
Ooo~! That's awesome! ^____^ You should get more then! Secretly stash tthhheeemmmm lol. I really need to get myself another Joker, my only one I have barely works, not its fault though, certain Furby's were made in different factories, and ones from certain factories don't work as well as others.
Funny thing is, I actually have an Great Uncle that lives there :lol: SO maybe!

What a breath-taking collection!!! I had one, bu I got rid of it on ebay because it was a gift from an ex. I kinda wish I had kept it, it was one of the babies and rather cute. Do you have any more detailed photos of yours somewhere?

Oh wow... so... many... Furbies. *_*
This is quite possibly the biggest Furby collection I've seen in my life. The only one I got were the McDonalds ones (which I gave all away at one point) and a white blue-eyed Furby Baby which is currently chilling on the topmost shelf above my desk in my room.
I remember that back in the day these toys used to be crazy popular among us, kids. I begged my mom to buy me one, but she kept saying no, because she thought them butt-ugly. XD But at one point I managed to persuade her and I got that one Furby Baby.
Anyways, congrats on your collection! :D Hope your dream will come true and that you'll be able to find these Mexican variants. :D

I just hit 50 furbies yesterday after finding 2 babies at Goodwill outlet! They've taken over the house. I recently got my first furby boom at the outlet and the thing is very annoying. The originals were much more endearing.
