Title: Princess Peach - a G2 custom

This is my first G2 custom! I bought the base off ebay but before she had even arrived I'd changed what I wanted to do with her. I was going to make Samus but decided on Princess Peach instead. :P

I kept her dark peach coat (even though it clashes horribly with her pink dress), because I personally don't like skin colour ponies, and gave her freckles to liken her to her toadstool subjects. I sculpted her dress but didn't end up giving her earrings or a crown (because I was fed up with her by that point lol). Sealing her was annoying and I accidentally dropped her, which broke part of her neckline and scratched her paint, so after fixing her and adding a second coat of sealant I added some glitter to distract from any imperfections. Plus her eye gems fell out, one went missing but I caught the other and gave it to a G2 who was missing one gem of the exact same colour, lucky. But enough about everything that went wrong, on to the pictures!

So all in all I like her, not 100% but artists are their own worst critics. What do you think?  ^.^

Even with all the challenges you faced, she turned out great! :lovey:

(And omigosh I would LOVE to see you make a Samus one.)

I think she turned out cute! And I love your sculpt work. I've not been brave enough to try sculpting clothing on ponies yet.
I second the wanting to see a Samus pony.

She looks great! You can't tell from the final product that you had any issues with her, but it sounds like quite the ordeal!

I really need to get some epoxy clay, Sculpey just drives me nuts and I'm almost out of it. I think making a Samus pony would drive me nuts lol :P

I think she's awesome! I like how you added some sparkle to her dress. The sculpting is very smooth!!
