edit: New pics on page 2 :)
-----
I am not sure if this belongs here, but since it is Spanish and I have never seen anything of the likes I thought this was the best forum to try.
Someone on the facebook arena page posted an image of this centaur thing that sourced from a spanish Auction site.
A lot of the people thought she was scary and I agree, but she is pretty intriguing too - she has G1 baby wings but the pony body isn't in any regular pony molds I have seen.
I registered and contacted the seller, was able to buy it. Now I am waiting for them to get back to me with when they will ship.

Does anyone know what/who she is and if she is worth anything?
-
I've never seen anything like it before. I'm very inclined to sat fakie.
You say it's Spanish, do the hoof marks say made in Spain? :)
The wings do look MLP!
Love pkw xxx

Se is interesting, but certainly not any MLP body I've seen. She rather remonds me of a fakie I saw recently on the fakie appreciation thread on the corral. There are quite a few pages, but someone found a pony fakie with curly hair, and apparently there was a whole bucket of them. None of them had wings, but the body pose looks similar.
She certainly is a fakie of some sort, fused with a doll. She is rad! I love it!
-
I haven't gotten it yet, but the seller is in Valencia
Also she seems to be one complete mold/cast - I can't see any 'seams' in the picture.
-
this looks scary and crazy, i LOVE IT :D
-
Wow cool find! I think it looks like it must be related to this fakie which I have:

Fakies are hard to price but if I really wanted it I could pay about $10.
-
yeah. I overpaid pretty much on it haha but you never know. Plus I was thinking maybe making a cast from it and casting resin ponies or something ;P
-
It's been on that site for ages. I wouldn't have paid more than 3€ for it. At toy fairs here in Spain, fakies go from 2 - 3€, well, G2s and G3s as well. ^^
-
I think she's super rad! I'd probably pay $10-15 just for her novelty!
-
lol ok. I paid 30 euros incl shipping for her XD sometimes you have to take a chance
-
This awesome weirdness is worth 30eur :D

This was my thought too... I have a similar "cousin" to those Spanish bucket fakies.

It's starting to look like this type of squarish fakie legs is a Spanish thing. I can't wait to hear back from you once you get your package- I'm really curious about the marks if there are any.
-
LOL Zora, that is true XD Looks and sounds interesting, Rachel :) I will be sure to post once she is here. She has been sent, I have a tracking number so I can stalk the tracking page too xD
-
oh wow, that thing is just plain weird XD Love it!
-
rachel-eyes i had stopped to look at that one a couple times at the pony fair before you bought it just because it was so different than any fakie i had seen before and because it has such short legs.. it looks like it is the body of the pony elephant or dinosaur (edgar or cuteasaurus) with a pony head

Yes, I was very unsure about her myself because the neck line kind of bothered me, but her legs are so cute and there are actually little swirls in the knees! They are very hard to see and I've never been able to photograph them, but they are there! The seller noticed that they are kind of similar to Piggies too. I wonder if maybe these are trying to imitate them, or vice-versa?
-
I love how odd this little pony friend is! Congrats!
-
Got her today :D
She has a pink mark on it's NDS wing an is overall grubby and dirty ugh, in need of a HUGE clean. Not worth what I paid for her but yeah. No markings for where she might be made, but has a hole in her stomache as if she used to be a squeaky toy. Also her hair is pink and blue, not grey. Pics coming.

Thanks so much for sharing those pics. :hugs: She really is a bizarre-looking toy, but I love her! Not cool of the seller to not disclose the condition or wing mark though. :(
-
Yeah I was a bit bummed, but ah well. She's a one of a kind type of toy - I mean I am sure there are more of'em but yeah :P
-
I still think she was worth it. Maybe she isn't one of a kind, but the opportunity to buy her is probably once in a lifetime. :)
I really like your idea of recasting them. Are you just going to do the horse body, or the human part as well?
-
Love it. If I ever get bored of collecting MLP, or collecting ONLY MLP, I deffinately are going to collect these kind of weird-creepy-bizar vintage toys.
-
I would be doing the whole thing :)
sounds fun, rain :)
-
Hadn't seen that one either... not sure about it lol but congrats to you!
-
That thing is scary. Is it for real? As in, not custom made?
-
Yup, it's for real :p
-
I think it's very cute! I love centaurs, and there are so few out there in the toy world. :) That face reminds me of baby dolls from the '60s and earlier - it wouldn't surprise me if this 'fakie' predated MLP! It's even a bit like Sindy. In any case, it's a unique find! Congratulations ^.^

I was kind of thinking this too. Her eyes remind me a little of Bradley dolls.
-
Ok..... I give.... that is the WEIRDEST thing I have ever seen on the Arena...o...m...g...
-
yeh she is one of the strangest yet coolest.. I wish we could collect all different colors lol
-
this simply rocks, appreciate that find and dont worry about the money :D
