A discussion over at facebook sparked my interest. I happen to have a blue uni with flowers that have pinwheels pose, but I don't know anything about it. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Oh that was me on FB who wanted to know about the Bully figures, I'd love to know more ^^
-
These are from Portugal. It sounds like the blue unicorn is Starflower.
-
Do you perhaps know if they are common/uncommon kellyponyfeathers? I used to have a pinwheel but I sold her off long ago, sadly.
-
Well, they're not common, but they're not super rare either. Most are worth about $10 to $20, though some (like sea ponies) can go higher. There are a bunch that have been cycling through Ebay for a while; they haven't sold because the seller wants $50 each.
:)

I did see the seapony and I thought it was way too pricey. Maybe I can find my childhood pinwheel after all as they are not expensive. :)
-
These are so cute :)
I believe some came with comics as a free gift :)

I just got the winning bid on these girls, payed 7 euro ( just under 10 dollars) for the pair- is that a good price? Would love to know some specific info on them if anyone knows more

Not technically nirvana as they are merchandise but they are hard to find and very popular that's for certain :)
There are 6 types of main pony - Peachy, Applejack, Pinwheel, Starflower, Firefly and Heartthrob - and then there are 4 [known] sea ponies - Tiny Bubbles, Sea Shimmer, Surf Rider and 2 of the adults [there is probably a 3rd adult but I dont recall it being found to date]. The regular ponies pop up the most often while the sea ponies [especially the adults] are super hard to find.
They were sold in little plastic sealed bags - in long strips - and were either a keyring or a pendant.

Many thanks hathorcat! :)

I have a bunch of those, I love them so much! Glad you found some too!!

I love these things... they are awesome :) They're not really Nirvana, as they are merchandise, but as long as they don't take over the forum it should be okay ;)
In addition to what hathorcat has posted, I have also seen them sold on card. Alas I was too slow for that auction! I don't think any of these ones came with comics. I only own two Portuguese comics, and neither of them came with free gifts.
I have only seen two of the adults ever come up (I have one of the two), however as they have come up so infrequently (only a handful overall - far fewer than any of the other poses), it is not beyond the realms of possibility that there is a third.
The ones currently on ebay have been doing the rounds a long time. I've rarely paid more than half those prices for most of mine, and I'm willing to pay more than most! I think I need two baby sea ponies and at least one adult still.
-
Which ones came with the comics? Was it the Spanish ones?
These are so cute!

The Spanish ones are made by a company called Comics Spain, but they never actually came with comics ;) It's just the name of the company.
-
May I ask, about how large are these ponies in comparison to a Ponyville-sized pony? They're super cute! (but then again, I certainly do not need another kind of pony to collect!)
-
They're a little bigger, but not much. Heavier though!
-
Is this one of the rare adult seaponies you are talking about? I just won her and I´m very curious if I did good or bad. I don´t want to take over the thread or anything but since this is an active thread and you´re talking about them I thought I´d show you mine ;)

Yes it is! She's the one I have too :) where was she listed?
-
Oh she was listed on a swedish auction! Do you think 25$ is a good price for her?
-
That's an excellent price for her - well done! I paid 30 euros for mine on a buy it now I think, and the other one I saw sold at much higher than that as well. They do tend to go a bit lower on Tradera (if that's where it was), due to smaller user base, but that can be good for getting bargains! :)
-
they also have the non pendant bully ponies, but i think those are mostly european.
i've got a few baity ones of those i haven't had the heart to paint over...
-
I find these quite interesting, thank you for showing pics.
