Title: G3 --> G1 Port-o-Bella (New Custom <3)
Post by: Sunshine on April 23, 2014, 03:11:05 PM: Just a little simple 'nother custom from :sunny: haha :lol:

She started as Sundance, with a cut neck seam. She as turned into Port-o-Bella, and her mane and tail were all made from recycled original G1 hair, which gives her that "aged" look. Because her neck seam was kinda funky, I wove a pretty little ribbon around it and adorned it with a gem, just for some zazz.

Anyway, she's simple (again, like my customs are... :biggrin:) But I think she turned out cute! I hope you guys like her! :hearts:

I actually am not 100% sure if I'm selling her or not yet, she may end up coming to the fair with me just for fun? I am starting to have this issue where I am making a couple customs I really like myself and I am realizing it's hard to let them go but omgosh I can't keep them all! :lol:

Post by: Sunshine on April 24, 2014, 10:09:18 AM: Monstar - it wasn't too too bad because I usually wash/condition all the tails before I throw them into the tail-box, so usually the hair is actually semi-nice and soft, I actually didn't wash or style her mane (just the tail). Recycling tails is one of my favorite things to do, I have SO MUCH hair in "tail form", lol But, it's not as super easy as grabbing the nice, neat, silky new hair to rehair with, that's for sure! :biggrin:

I am not 100% sure if I'm selling or keeping her yet... she's also my favorite G3 and part of me is thinking "I should makea Port-o-Bella" army, BUT I do take commissions... :heart:

She really really suits G1 and you did a fab job of her symbol. What a lovely idea! I hardly ever think to reverse-swap G3's. :lovey:

I only usually recycle tails, due to length, unless I have something like a Brush 'n Grow or another one with a longer mane, sometimes I can recycle that for babies... but for adults usually it's just tails, haha! :lol:
